Hello! I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) licensed in both New Jersey and Colorado, with over 27 years of experience. I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside people through some of the most challenging and meaningful moments of their lives. Over the years, I’ve learned that effective counseling isn’t about having all the answers—it’s about creating a space where people feel truly seen, heard, and supported as they discover their own path forward. My style is eclectic, drawing from a variety of therapeutic approaches so I can tailor treatment to each unique client’s needs and goals. Whether through exploring emotions, building practical skills, or understanding deeper patterns, I’m committed to partnering with you to help you grow and heal in ways that feel authentic and effective.
Your first therapy session is all about getting to know you and understanding what brought you here. It’s a chance for us to build rapport, discuss your goals, and begin exploring the challenges you’re facing in a safe, confidential space.
With many years of experience supporting individuals and couples, I bring a compassionate, nonjudgmental presence that helps clients feel truly seen and heard. Over time, I’ve developed a deep understanding of how to create a safe space where vulnerability is welcomed and emotional exploration is encouraged.
I work best with individuals who are ready to better understand themselves and shift patterns that no longer serve them. You might be navigating anxiety, relationship struggles, self-doubt, or a harsh inner critic — and you’re looking for more than surface-level coping skills. You want lasting change, deeper clarity, and a space where all parts of you are welcome. I offer an affirming space for LGBTQ+ clients and those who identify as neurodivergent — including ADHD, autism, and highly sensitive people — where your lived experience is honored, not pathologized.
EFT is experiential and attachment-based. That means: the focus is on primary emotions (not just thoughts or behaviors) I help clients access, articulate, process and risk sharing vulnerable emotions
I use this method to assist clients with unconscious processes, early relationships, and internal conflicts that influence current behavior. The main focus is on increasing self-awareness, understanding relationship patterns and working through unresolved issues (often rooted in childhood)
IFS, developed by Dr. Richard Schwartz, is based on the idea that the mind is made up of "parts", each with its own feelings, thoughts, and roles. At the center of it all is the Self — a calm, compassionate inner leader. I help clients identify their parts, self qualities and how different parts protect the client against painful emotions or exiled parts.
