New to Grow
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate life’s challenges and create meaningful change. I provide therapy to children, adolescents, and adults, with experience in both outpatient and in-home settings. I support clients experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, emotional regulation difficulties, relationship concerns, life transitions, low motivation, and other challenges affecting their well-being. My practice is built around creating a safe, supportive, and judgment-free environment where clients can feel comfortable being themselves. I believe every client brings unique experiences, strengths, and perspectives to therapy. My role is to help you better understand those experiences, identify what may be holding you back, and develop practical strategies that support your goals. I take a collaborative and individualized approach because therapy should be tailored to the person, not simply the problem.
Your first session is a chance to feel heard, understood, and comfortable with the therapeutic process. We will discuss what brought you to therapy, what you have been experiencing, your personal strengths, and what you hope to accomplish. I will ask questions to better understand your current situation and relevant background, but you are not expected to have all the answers. My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and judgment-free environment where you can speak openly at your own pace. By the end of our first session, we will begin identifying your priorities and developing realistic goals for therapy. You should leave with a clearer understanding of how we can work together and an initial sense of direction for moving forward.
I bring empathy, patience, clinical experience, and a practical, individualized approach to every session. I believe one of my greatest strengths is my ability to meet clients where they are without judgment while still helping them move toward meaningful change. I listen carefully, ask thoughtful questions, and work collaboratively with clients rather than simply telling them what they should do. I recognize that change takes time, and I work to create a therapeutic relationship built on trust, respect, and honesty. I also focus on making therapy practical and applicable to everyday life. Along with exploring thoughts, emotions, and experiences, I help clients develop strategies for managing stress, regulating emotions, improving communication, challenging unhelpful thinking patterns, strengthening relationships, and solving problems. My goal is for clients to leave therapy feeling heard and understood while also gaining greater self-awareness, practical tools, and a clearer sense of direction. I want clients to recognize that they have strengths and abilities they can build upon as they work toward their goals.
I work best with clients who are ready to understand themselves on a deeper level, face challenges, and make meaningful changes in their lives. I support adolescents and adults dealing with anxiety, depression, stress, emotional regulation issues, relationship struggles, low motivation, life transitions, or feeling overwhelmed by daily responsibilities. You might feel stuck, struggle to manage emotions, find it hard to communicate, or simply know something needs to change but aren’t sure where to start and that’s okay. Therapy doesn’t require you to have it all figured out. I welcome anyone seeking support, building self-awareness, learning healthier coping skills, or working toward personal goals. My approach works well for those who value collaboration and are open to exploring their experiences while practicing new skills between sessions. No matter where you are in your journey, we can uncover your strengths, set clear goals, and move toward meaningful progress together.
I use Dialectical Behavior Therapy to help clients better understand and manage difficult emotions, strengthen relationships, and respond to stressful situations in healthier ways. I incorporate DBT skills such as mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness based on each client’s needs and treatment goals. Rather than simply trying to eliminate difficult emotions, I help clients learn to acknowledge their experiences while developing practical strategies for responding differently. We may practice identifying emotional triggers, tolerating distress without making situations worse, communicating needs effectively, setting healthy boundaries, and making thoughtful decisions during emotionally challenging moments. My goal is to help clients build greater emotional awareness, resilience, and confidence in managing everyday challenges.
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we identify unhelpful thought patterns, explore how they affect feelings and actions, and develop healthier and more balanced ways of thinking. I incorporate practical CBT strategies to help clients manage anxiety, depression, stress, low motivation, and everyday challenges. Clients may practice reframing negative thoughts, identifying triggers, problem-solving, setting achievable goals, and developing healthier behaviors between sessions. My goal is to help clients gain greater self-awareness and practical skills they can use independently in their daily lives.
I use MBT to help clients better understand their own thoughts, feelings, intentions, and behaviors, as well as those of others. Together, we explore how emotions and relationships can influence the way situations are interpreted and how we respond. I help clients slow down, consider different perspectives, and develop greater awareness of what may be happening internally and within their relationships. MBT can support improved emotional regulation, communication, empathy, and relationship stability. My goal is to help clients become more curious about their experiences, reduce reactive responses, and develop healthier ways of understanding themselves and connecting with others.
