About me

I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional who works with children, teens, adults, and families. My approach is trauma-informed, compassionate, and empowering, creating a safe space where individuals of all ages can explore challenges, build resilience, and develop healthy coping skills. Whether you're navigating life transitions, emotional struggles, trauma, or personal growth, I'm here to support you on your journey toward healing, confidence, and well-being.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your first session is about getting comfortable, building connection, and allowing me to learn more about you, not just what brought you to therapy. We’ll talk about what you’ve been experiencing, what you hope to gain from therapy, and the areas of your life you’d like to work on. There’s no pressure to share everything at once. My goal is for you to leave your first session feeling heard, supported, and confident that we can begin creating a path toward healing and growth together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths is my ability to create a space where clients can show up as their authentic selves without fear of judgment. I bring empathy, compassion, authenticity, and a trauma-informed perspective into every session. I’m not a one-size-fits-all therapist, I meet clients where they are, while also challenging and encouraging them when needed. I believe in building genuine connections, incorporating humor when appropriate, and helping clients recognize their strengths while developing practical tools they can use beyond the therapy room.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal client is someone who may be navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, or simply feeling stuck and unsure of what comes next. You don’t have to have everything figured out, you just need to be willing to show up and take the first step. I enjoy working with clients who want to better understand themselves, break unhealthy patterns, build confidence, and create meaningful change. Whether you’re ready to heal, rediscover yourself, or simply need a safe space to process life, we can grow through it together.

My treatment methods

Trauma-Focused CBT

I use Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, to help clients understand how traumatic experiences can impact their thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and relationships. Through a supportive and structured approach, we work on identifying triggers, developing healthy coping and emotional regulation skills, challenging unhelpful thought patterns, and processing difficult experiences at a pace that feels safe and manageable. My goal is to help clients understand that while trauma may be part of their story, it does not have to define their future.

Narrative

I use Narrative Therapy to help clients explore the stories they have developed about themselves through their experiences, relationships, trauma, and life challenges. Together, we work to separate the person from the problem, challenge negative beliefs, and recognize strengths that may have been overlooked along the way. I help clients understand that you are not your trauma, your mistakes, or what has happened to you, you have the power to rewrite your story. The goal is to help you create a healthier narrative that reflects who you are, how you’ve grown, and who you are becoming.

Interpersonal

I use Interpersonal Therapy to help clients understand how relationships, past trauma, PTSD symptoms, and life experiences can impact their emotional well-being, self-esteem, and ability to connect with others. Together, we explore relationship patterns, communication challenges, unresolved conflicts, grief, life transitions, trauma-related triggers, and experiences that may have shaped how you see yourself and others. We work on strengthening communication, establishing healthy boundaries, rebuilding self-esteem, and developing healthier ways to navigate relationships. The goal is to help you heal from past experiences, strengthen your sense of self, and create healthier, more meaningful connections with yourself and others.
