About me

Hi, I’m Ashley! I’m a Licensed Therapist and I believe therapy should feel like a space where you can finally exhale. Life can be full, demanding, and sometimes overwhelming even when everything looks good from the outside. Whether you’re navigating relationships, family, career demands, life transitions, or simply wanting to feel more like yourself again, you deserve a space that’s just for you. My approach is warm, genuine, and personalized. You can come as you are, and together, we’ll create space for clarity, healing, and meaningful growth.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your first session is about getting comfortable, building connection, and allowing me to learn more about you, not just what brought you to therapy. We’ll talk about what you’ve been experiencing, what you hope to gain from therapy, and the areas of your life you’d like to work on. There’s no pressure to share everything at once. My goal is for you to leave your first session feeling heard, supported, and confident that we can begin creating a path toward healing and growth together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is my ability to create a warm, comfortable, and confidential space where you can simply be yourself. You don’t have to arrive with the right words, have everything figured out, or feel pressure to present a certain way. Therapy can be the space where you step away from the expectations of everyday life, speak openly, and feel genuinely heard and understood. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. I take the time to understand who you are, what matters to you, and the unique experiences that have shaped your life. Our sessions are personalized to meet your individual needs and may include meaningful conversation, thoughtful reflection, practical strategies, moments of humor, and, when helpful, gentle challenges that encourage you to see yourself or your circumstances from a new perspective.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal client is someone who may be navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, or simply feeling stuck and unsure of what comes next. You don’t have to have everything figured out, you just need to be willing to show up and take the first step. I enjoy working with clients who want to better understand themselves, break unhealthy patterns, build confidence, and create meaningful change. Whether you’re ready to heal, rediscover yourself, or simply need a safe space to process life, we can grow through it together.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) along with talk therapy to help clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Sometimes we know something doesn’t feel right, but we don’t always know why and therapy gives us the space to talk through it together. During sessions, we may explore patterns, identify triggers, challenge negative thoughts, and develop healthier ways to cope with stress, anxiety, relationships, and everyday life. My approach is supportive and conversational, and we move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. My goal is to help you better understand yourself, feel more confident navigating life’s challenges, and leave therapy with tools you can actually use in your everyday life.

Narrative

I use Narrative Therapy as a way to simply talk through your story, where you’ve been, what you’ve experienced, and how those experiences may have shaped the way you see yourself today. Sometimes we carry labels, beliefs, or expectations that came from difficult relationships, past experiences, or things other people have said about us. In our sessions, we’ll talk through those experiences, challenge the stories that no longer fit who you are, and recognize the strengths you may have forgotten along the way. Your past, your mistakes, and the things you’ve been through are parts of your story, but they don’t have to define the whole story. Together, we’ll focus on where you are now and the person you’re becoming.

Interpersonal

I use Interpersonal Therapy to create space for honest conversations about your relationships and how they may be affecting the way you feel. Sometimes the things weighing on us are connected to feeling unheard, misunderstood, disconnected, or unsure of how to communicate what we really need. In our sessions, we’ll talk through what’s happening in your relationships, explore patterns, and work on healthier ways to communicate, set boundaries, and express your feelings. Whether it’s family, friendships, romantic relationships, or changes happening in your life, we’ll work through it together. Sometimes healing starts with having a safe place to talk about the things you’ve been holding in.
