Thank you! for taking the time to read my profile and consider me as a part of your support system and healing journey.
Finding the right therapist can feel overwhelming. With so many options available, it is important to find someone with whom you feel safe, comfortable, and able to be your authentic self.
Whether you are navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, emotional struggles, or adjusting to new environments and circumstances, I strive to provide a warm, supportive space where growth, healing, and transformation can occur naturally.
Together, we will work toward understanding the challenges you are facing, building on your strengths, and developing practical tools to help you overcome obstacles and improve your overall well-being.
Hello, and welcome! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), National Certified Counselor (NCC), Certified Play Therapist (CPT), and bilingual therapist providing services in both English and Spanish. I offer psychotherapy and counseling services for children ages 7 and older, adolescents, and adults.
Se habla Español.
My approach is compassionate, honest, and collaborative. It can be difficult to hear what needs to be said. I am the kind of therapist who is going to say those things. Your therapist is not meant to be your friend, which can be difficult to understand sometimes. We will navigate difficult things together.
I believe therapy should be more than just talking about problems... it should create lasting change. Together, we're going to build on your strengths, challenge unhelpful patterns, and help you work toward making your life feel more fulfilling, more aligned with what matters most to you, and more capable of addressing the challenges you encounter. Outside of work, I'm a laid-back person who spends a lot of time reading and playing with my dog.

You keep showing up fully in relationships, but rarely feel met in the same way. On the outside, you’re capable and composed. On the inside, you may feel anxious, unfulfilled, or quietly questioning yourself. You might overgive, take on emotional labor, or fall into familiar roles that no longer feel aligned.
These experiences are often connected to anxiety, attachment patterns, or past relational wounds — and they can change.
I’m Fatima, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Georgia. Welcome! I’m Tamika of Life in Bloom. I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Wedding Officiant. I’m here to help you navigate life's stressful relationships. In our talks, I refer to those stressors as “thorns.” Why thorns, you ask? Great question! Because even the most beautiful roses have some uncomfortable pieces. That doesn’t make them any less beautiful, valuable, or appreciated. I have been commissioned to help couples, families, friends, and any other relationship dynamic find their communication style, boundaries, and build trust. It is truly my joy and my personal life’s work.
Therapy isn’t what we have traditionally seen on television or in film. It is so much more than sitting on a big, comfy couch, sharing your innermost thoughts/feelings. Therapy is beautiful and transformative - and can take work. Don’t worry! I am here to help you every step of the way. Life and all the hats you wear from day to day can be challenging. I encourage and empower you to unlock the power you have inside of you. I promise you it’s there! I also help you reflect on how far you have come in order to celebrate your victories with you - big or small. Kudos to you for seeking help! You are in a safe space. I look forward to working with you and watching you bloom.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 16 years of experience in counseling and direct case management. Most of my career has been spent with children and families in the midst of homelessness, foster care, and/or adoption, so I am no stranger to walking alongside others in their lowest valleys and on their highest mountains. I have also worked with many adults and couples as they navigate depression, grief and loss, anxiety, and relationship issues. With a background in psychology and a continued interest in the way that our brains impact our lives, I work with each unique client to untangle the white noise in their mind and achieve their goals.

My name is Michael and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Certified Chemical Dependency Counselor in Georgia, Florida, and South Carolina. As a psychotherapist, my vocation is supporting individuals, working together on your journey toward self-discovery, healing, and learning to thrive from the comfort and convenience of your home or office, and when it is most convenient for you. My work commonly addresses individuals experiencing difficulties in life due to problems stemming from difficulties early in life, anxiety, depression, major life changes, academic challenges (undergrad, graduate, post-graduate studies), the discomfort of feelings that go along with hypervigilance, procrastination, and perfectionism.
Sometimes, we need help from someone new, experienced with developing collaborative relationships to find strengths we take for granted, and to embrace that we can be the person we’re meant to be.
Are you struggling with anxiety, depression, substance abuse, or major life changes? Let’s talk!
I do not prescribe medication, and I do not see clients under the age of 18.
I am a therapist that likes to actively build towards getting clients the changes they are seeking: To feel better emotionally, improve self esteem, see positive changes in their lives and relationships, to gain healing, and increase motivation. We will begin by talking and processing the issues and then figuring out what would be the most helpful approach to get started . I believe in listening to what my clients need and then developing an individualized strategy for each person with his or her input s the foundation. Clients would describe me as warm, open, and guiding ,while still leaving room for them to make the best decision for themselves, as well as affirming of who you are now, not who you can be. I take the approach, "You are not lost, you just need to know where to place your feet to keep walking forward." I ask lots of questions to create further exploration and insight using analogies that are easy to relate to. I also provide time for talking, because sometimes hearing yourself say it is the most valuable thing you can do. I believe that the client is the director of his/ her own life and the therapist is a facilitator to help them get to deeper truths within. I work with clients to uncover root causes and treat the deeper issues, not just the symptoms. We come away from sessions with a plan of action for improvement and more understanding about what is causing the blockage to begin with.

It takes work but I will be there to assist you towards living the life you desire and deserve.

I have over 35 years of experience working with individuals and families in crisis and providing marriage and couples counseling. Past experiences include working with military families for 10 years with the Department of Defense. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Brief Solution-Focused Therapy. I encourage healthy communication and feedback from each family member using family systems therapy. I believe the healing process starts with the willingness to change, commitment, and consistency. "My journey toward becoming a therapist began while I was working in adult probation. That experience led me to explore what it takes to find strength through life’s most difficult challenges and to avoid involvement in crime. It also showed me the powerful role therapy can play in recovery and strengthened my commitment to supporting others on their healing journeys. Inspired by this work, I returned to school to earn my master’s degree in social work. I remain guided by the belief that everyone has the capacity for growth and change. Seeing my clients build confidence and find peace makes this work deeply rewarding."
