(she/her)
Hi and welcome! I am a licensed clinical social worker and I have over 10 years of experience supporting individuals and families in a variety of contexts to find empowerment and create stability. I am a believer in hard conversations, accountability, and intentionality. I am passionate about helping adults reconnect with their abilities and strengths to be able to support themselves through the ups and downs of life.
Our first session together is your time to figure out if I am the right fit for you and your needs. It is also the time to see if committing to therapeutic support is something you have the capacity for. We will talk about what motivated you to seek support and we will talk about what you would like to see changed in your life, internally and/or externally. From there, we will talk about specific action steps and objectives that we will work towards in our future sessions together.
The experiences and challenges life puts us through can be wonderful. They can also be hard. Sitting with you through those wonderful and hard experiences is my strength. I understand how experiences both real and perceived can create an inner narrative that is difficult to process. The hardest part is being vulnerable enough to acknowledge those inner thoughts and feelings and showing up for yourself to find clarity and healing. If you are exploring the idea of getting that support to show up for yourself, you have conquered the hardest part.
