New to Grow
Starting therapy is a brave step, and I’m here to support you in making it meaningful. I specialize in helping individuals navigate life transitions, anxiety, depression, and trauma, using a client-centered and collaborative approach tailored to your unique needs. In our work together, you'll find a safe, supportive space where you can be yourself and move toward growth at your own pace. My communication style is warm, empathetic, and collaborative. I strive to create a nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, supported, and respected. I’ll offer honest feedback, ask thoughtful questions, and work with you at your pace, always with the goal of helping you feel empowered and understood.
In our first session, we’ll begin by getting to know each other and discussing what brings you to therapy. I’ll ask some questions about your current concerns, background, and what you hope to achieve, all at a pace that feels comfortable for you. We’ll also go over important topics like confidentiality, therapy policies, and any initial paperwork if it hasn’t already been completed. By the end of our session, we’ll start outlining a plan tailored to your goals and talk about what our future work together might look like. My aim is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel heard and respected from day one.
My journey to becoming a therapist was rooted in a deep curiosity about the human experience and a strong desire to help others feel seen, heard, and supported. Over the years, I’ve been inspired by the resilience people show in the face of life’s challenges, and I’ve come to believe that meaningful change is always possible with the right support. Becoming a therapist has allowed me to combine my passion for connection, emotional growth, and mental wellness into a career that I find deeply fulfilling.
Have anxious thoughts or self-doubt been getting in your way? I specialize in working with young and older adults navigating anxiety, life transitions, and self-esteem challenges. Whether you're processing trauma, building coping skills, or clarifying your personal goals, I’ll collaborate with you to create a supportive, personalized plan for growth—one that feels both empowering and achievable.
In my practice, I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT) to help clients create lasting, meaningful change. In our first session, we’ll explore what brought you to therapy and work together to determine the best approach for your needs. Using CBT, we’ll identify how your thoughts impact your emotions and behaviors and develop strategies to shift unhelpful patterns.
With SFT, we'll focus on your strengths and equip you with practical tools to help you achieve your goals and move forward with confidence.
