New to Grow
Hi, I’m a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker who is passionate about helping individuals navigate stress, anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, and life transitions by providing practical tools and empathetic guidance. I provide a supportive and structured space where you can process what’s weighing on you while also building practical tools for change. My goal is to empower you to build resilience, improve emotional well-being, and create meaningful changes that support a healthier and more balanced life.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session, we'll take time to get to know each other and talk about what brought you to therapy. I'll ask questions to understand your concerns and goals, and together we'll begin creating a plan that feels supportive and meaningful for you.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
My greatest strengths include creating a supportive yet structured therapeutic environment where clients feel both heard and empowered. I balance empathy with accountability, helping clients process emotions while also developing practical, measurable strategies for change. I have strong insight into identifying patterns in thoughts, behaviors, and relationship dynamics, and I guide clients toward increased self-awareness and healthier coping skills. Clients often appreciate my ability to provide clarity, direct feedback, and actionable tools while maintaining a safe, nonjudgmental space.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I work with adolescents, adults, older adults, and couples navigating stress, anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, and life transitions. I provide practical tools and empathetic guidance to help clients build healthier coping strategies, improve communication, and create meaningful change. I am especially well suited for clients who are open to growth and ready to better understand their patterns while developing skills to move forward with confidence.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors. In sessions, we explore the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and work together to challenge distorted thinking and replace it with more balanced, realistic perspectives. I incorporate practical tools such as cognitive restructuring, behavioral activation, and skill-building exercises so clients leave sessions with strategies they can apply in daily life. My approach to CBT is collaborative and goal-oriented, helping clients track progress and build measurable change over time.
Motivational Interviewing
I use Motivational Interviewing to support clients who feel ambivalent about change. Rather than pushing or directing, I create space for clients to explore their own motivations, values, and readiness. Through reflective listening and strategic questioning, I help clients resolve internal conflicts and strengthen their confidence in making decisions aligned with their goals. This approach is especially helpful when working on behavior change, boundary-setting, or personal growth.
Supportive
Supportive therapy is foundational in my practice. I provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and validated. I use empathy, encouragement, and gentle guidance to help clients process emotions and build emotional resilience. While we work toward concrete goals, I also ensure clients feel supported throughout the process. This balance of structure and support allows clients to feel both understood and empowered.
