My name is Felipe Howell I am a LPC and NCC in the state of Georgia. I engage in mental health interventions for clients of all ages. Currently, I am using cognitive behavioral therapy as my primary mode of service. I usually work with young people, college age and early adulthood with managing life changes as well as stress related to career and work. Anxiety is the most persistent challenge that I'm faced with in the counseling setting. I also work with young men addressing issues of loneliness, anger and social isolation. I am seeking to finish a specialization in play therapy in the next 12 months. In this practice I work with kids as young as 8 and clients all the way to adult hood using alternative ways to address life stress in therapy, mainly through the act of play to address topics that clients may sturggle to communicate or process. Other topics such as martial stress, religious trauma, LGBTQ issues and depression have also been subject of treatment for me in the past. I look forward to working with you soon.

Counseling is a collabrative experince and it is done best you connect with your provider. There is no pressure, we will do our best and decide what is best for you!
I'm a cognitive behavioral therapist. I take pride in being able to provide psychoeducation to allow my clients to understand their experience through the cognitive map. Through this we can understand, examine and work through many problems. I also seek to gain insight and understanding without judgement. I try to guide my people, not tell them what I think is best. We will use other counseling therapy techniques as needed. I will do my best to offer skills for the challenges you provide.
