I believe therapy should be a space where you can show up as your authentic self, feel genuinely heard, and explore what is happening in your life without fear of judgment. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with doctoral-level training, I am passionate about helping individuals better understand themselves, navigate difficult experiences, strengthen relationships, and develop healthier patterns that support meaningful and lasting change. My approach is warm, collaborative, compassionate, and empowering. I do not believe therapy is about simply telling you what to do or giving you a list of solutions. Instead, I work alongside you to understand your experiences, identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, recognize your strengths, and develop practical tools that can help you move forward with greater confidence and intention. I also understand that reaching out for therapy can feel vulnerable, especially when you are used to handling things on your own. My goal is to create an environment where you can be honest, curious, and supported while working at a pace that feels appropriate for you. Whether you are navigating stress, anxiety, relationship concerns, life transitions, self-esteem challenges, emotional overwhelm, or simply feeling ready for something different, therapy can provide an opportunity to pause, reflect, and reconnect with yourself. Together, we can work toward greater clarity, stronger boundaries, healthier relationships, improved coping skills, and deeper confidence in the choices you make. I want you to leave therapy not only feeling understood, but also feeling more equipped to navigate life independently, trust yourself, and create a life that feels more aligned with who you are and what matters most to you. I view therapy as a partnership, and I value creating a space where you can feel challenged, encouraged, and genuinely supported throughout the process.

You may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or weighed down by experiences that are difficult to make sense of - whether that’s anxiety, past or present trauma, relationship challenges, or simply the strain of getting through each day. I work with individuals navigating a wide range of challenges, whether finding it hard to cope, or functioning on the outside while struggling internally. Many of my clients have experienced difficult or painful life events and are seeking a space where they can feel understood, supported, and free from judgment. My approach is thoughtful, grounded, and tailored to each individual. I will meet you where you are, at a pace that feels manageable. Together, we will work to make sense of your experiences, identify patterns that may be holding you back, and develop practical ways to help you feel more stable, more in control, and more like yourself again. I bring both professional training and real-life perspective to my work, allowing me to connect with clients in a genuine and down-to-earth way. Therapy with me is not about quick fixes—it’s about meaningful, lasting change and having someone alongside you who understands how difficult things can feel. Reaching out for therapy is a big step, and I aim to make the process as supportive and straightforward as possible from the beginning. An initial conversation can help determine whether working together feels like the right fit, provide a sense of what the process might look like, and address any questions you may have. Hello! I work with people who want help finding ways to live a more fulfilling life. As a therapist, I help people recognize their strengths as we work together to overcome difficulties. Almost all of us struggle with many of the same questions. "Am I good enough?" "Why do I feel like I don't matter?" "Will I ever be truly happy when I seem to make the same choices over and over again?" Do you want to manage anxiety? Do you feel depressed? Have you experienced a trauma? Do you find yourself unable to finish projects or find your car keys? Are the kids struggling? Whatever is going wrong, a safe place to talk, knowing your trust will never be compromised, is a wonderful gift you can give yourself. During the first visit, we'll talk about what you want to see happen. Together will come up with a plan. Lasting change is possible. You can create a happy and fulfilling life.

Sometimes life blows up in a way you never saw coming. A relationship ends. Someone lies to you. Trust gets shattered. You lose someone you love. Anxiety starts taking over your brain. Or you wake up one day and realize the life you thought you were building is not the life you actually have. A lot of the people I work with are functioning just fine on the outside while internally thinking, What the hell just happened to my life? They're replaying conversations, second-guessing themselves, trying to make sense of someone else's behavior, wondering whether they missed something, and feeling completely exhausted by their own thoughts. You don't need to show up with a diagnosis or a beautifully organized explanation of what's wrong. You can bring the messy version. I'm not a therapist who is going to sit silently for 50 minutes, nod occasionally, and then ask how that made you feel. I am engaged. I ask questions. I notice patterns. I will tell you what I'm seeing. I will validate what deserves validation, and I will also challenge you when I think you are getting stuck, avoiding something important, or being much harder on yourself than the situation actually calls for. There is room here for grief, anger, confusion, ugly truths, dark humor, bad decisions, overthinking, faith, and the occasional sentence that starts with, "I know this sounds crazy, but..." I work especially well with adults dealing with anxiety, grief, heartbreak, betrayal, complicated relationships, and major life changes. What happened matters. But I do not want the worst thing that happened to you to become the organizing principle for the rest of your life.

Licensed Psychotherapist | Culturally Sensitive | Trauma-Informed Welcome, I’m Nubia. Healing doesn’t happen overnight — but with the right support, it absolutely happens. Whether you're working through trauma, betrayal, anxiety, divorce, or simply feeling emotionally stuck, I’m here to help you move forward with clarity, strength, and care. I work with adults navigating life transitions, stress, or emotional wounds that have been hard to process alone. Many of my clients come to me feeling overwhelmed, burnt out, or unsure of how to break free from patterns that no longer serve them. Together, we explore the deeper “why” behind those patterns — and create space for healing, resilience, and growth. My approach is grounded in evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). These methods help us understand how your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected — and how to gently shift the beliefs that keep you feeling stuck. But beyond technique, I lead with authenticity, compassion, and cultural awareness. In our sessions, you’ll find a space that feels safe, honest, and judgment-free. Whether this is your first time in therapy or you’re returning to it, you are welcome exactly as you are. Clients often tell me they feel more centered, more empowered, and more hopeful after working together. I offer flexible scheduling, including evenings and virtual sessions, because healing should fit into real life. If you’re ready to begin your journey — whether you’re clear on your goals or still figuring them out — I’d be honored to support you. Let’s take the first step, together. I discovered a strong calling to support women navigating self-doubt, perfectionism, overthinking, and the weight of constantly putting others’ needs before their own. If you see yourself in this, you are not alone. It would be an honor to walk alongside you as you work toward the goals that matter most to you. I identify as she/her and as a Latina therapist, and I’m passionate about providing culturally informed therapy that honors the intersection of identity, culture, family dynamics, and lived experience. My work is rooted in evidence-based practices, including Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)—approaches that support real change by combining empathy, skill-building, and a strong therapeutic alliance. With 9 years of clinical experience and lived experience with addiction and family trauma, I bring both professional knowledge and real-world understanding into the therapy room. Above all, I offer a space where you don’t have to explain or justify your struggle—you can just be real. And from that place, we work together to create the life you want to live.

My name is Miguel Lopez, a Hispanic male (He/Him/His) and U.S. Army combat veteran who brings a unique perspective to my work as a therapist. Fluent in Spanish and passionate about guiding people through life’s challenges, I hold a Master’s in Social Work from Walden University, a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice from Colorado Technical University, and an Associate’s in Criminal Justice from Pikes Peak State College. With over a decade of experience as a caseworker, substance abuse counselor, and therapist, I’ve had the privilege of working with diverse clients facing real-life struggles and in need of daily support. Life can be tough, and we all face difficult moments—whether it’s a breakup, divorce, grief, the loss of a loved one or pet, or even a job loss. In these times, having an unbiased person to offer support can make a world of difference. I see trauma as an unexpected part of life that is often hard to process, but with the right help, it can be managed and overcome healthily. I’ve personally experienced more than my share of trauma, grief, loss, sadness, depression, and substance use, and I sought help to work through them. My approach to therapy is centered on helping people in the best way possible, always with an open mind. I often use Maslow’s hierarchy of needs as a guide, because I believe mental health is hard to prioritize when physical needs aren’t met, or issues like homelessness or substance abuse are present. I enjoy working with clients from age 5 to older adults who face Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, PTSD, Mood Disorders, Personality Disorders, and other mental health or substance use challenges. It’s easy to fight battles alone and suffer in silence, but you don’t have to anymore—together, we can work toward healing and a better future.

If you’ve been thinking about starting therapy, now is a good time to reach out. I currently have immediate availability for new adult clients and offer secure telehealth throughout Michigan and Florida. Maybe you’ve been feeling anxious, overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or stuck in patterns that you can’t seem to change. You may be functioning well on the outside while privately struggling on the inside. You might be overthinking, having difficulty managing your emotions, feeling disconnected, or carrying the effects of experiences that still affect you today. Sometimes you may not even know exactly what you need, you just know that something needs to change. I work with adults (18+) and couples experiencing trauma and PTSD, anxiety, depression, stress, relationship difficulties, grief, self-esteem concerns, and life transitions. I also support clients navigating ADHD and other challenges that may be affecting their emotional well-being and everyday life. Opening up to someone you’ve never met can feel uncomfortable, especially when you're already dealing with something difficult. You don't need to come to your first session with everything figured out, and you don't need to know exactly what to say. We can start wherever you are. I believe you are the expert on your own life. My role is not to tell you what you should do, but to help you better understand yourself, explore different perspectives, recognize patterns, and work through the things that may be getting in the way of the life or relationships you want.

I’m a down-to-earth person who enjoys connecting with people and hearing their stories. I’m curious by nature, enjoy learning, and believe there is always room to grow. I value honesty, family, faith, community, and treating people with respect. I also enjoy music, creativity, and working with my hands. My own journey has taught me that life doesn’t always unfold the way we expect it to. There can be seasons when we have to start over, make difficult decisions, adapt to change, or simply figure out how to keep going when things feel overwhelming.

My name is Flemens Casimir, and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with six years of experience providing counseling services to individuals from diverse backgrounds and demographics. In addition to my work in general mental health, I also have extensive experience in substance abuse treatment, supporting clients who struggle with addiction and co-occurring disorders. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), which is enhancing my ability to support clients in addressing trauma that often contributes to ongoing mental health and substance use challenges. My therapeutic philosophy emphasizes meeting clients where they are in their current stage of life. I approach counseling with authenticity, empathy, and a commitment to being nonjudgmental, because I believe that when someone seeks mental health support, the last thing they should encounter is judgment. My goal is to create a safe and collaborative environment where clients feel empowered and respected as they work toward healing and growth.
