(he/him)
Hi, I’m glad you’re here. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a proud Army veteran. My time in the military taught me resilience, discipline, and how to face challenges head on and I bring that same mindset into my work as a therapist. I understand that reaching out for support takes courage, and my goal is to honor that step by providing a space where you feel seen, heard, and supported. I work with adults and fellow veterans navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions, helping them find tools that create real change in everyday life.
Our first session will be a chance for us to get to know each other. We’ll fill out a short form to get started. Then, we’ll set some initial goals to figure out how to best meet your needs.
In my professional capacity, the well-being and mental health of my clients are of utmost importance to me. I am honored to be a non-judgmental and welcoming therapy practice committed to creating a secure and supportive environment. It is my utmost priority to ensure that individuals feel empowered and understood. Drawing upon the principles instilled during my tenure in the Army, I incorporate values such as duty, honor, integrity, and respect into my therapeutic approach.
My ideal clients are teens (13–17) and adults (18+) dealing with anxiety, depression, or trauma/PTSD.

Person-centered (Rogerian)
I employ a person-centered approach to promote the notion that you are the expert in your own life experiences. I have been using this approach for three years and have assisted clients in living fulfilling lives.
Motivational Interviewing
Over the past three years, I have utilized Motivational Interviewing (MI) as a therapeutic intervention. This approach has proven effective in assisting clients in clarifying and articulating their own motivations for change. In sessions, we will employ MI techniques to facilitate your self-discovery and exploration of your underlying motivations for seeking change.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I have experience using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to assist clients in identifying negative thoughts and triggers associated with traumatic experiences. CBT is a widely recognized approach to addressing trauma, enabling individuals to actively pinpoint specific situations, people, places, sounds, smells, or even thoughts that consistently evoke intense emotional reactions related to their traumatic experience. By collaborating, we can work to uncover some of these triggers, fostering the development of healthy coping strategies.
