You might be struggling with anxiety, perfectionism, people-pleasing, or the impact of past experiences. I work with adults experiencing anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, self-doubt, or a sense of being “behind” in life who are seeking meaningful, lasting change rather than quick fixes. I offer a supportive, collaborative space where we slow things down, make sense of what you’re experiencing, and identify practical, realistic steps forward at a pace that feels manageable. For those who are open to it, I also incorporate creative, art-based approaches to help explore and process emotions that can be difficult to put into words. Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During our initial session, I will ask questions to get to know you, explore what brings you in, and begin developing a collaborative plan for therapy based on your needs and goals.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I offer trauma-informed, collaborative therapy that integrates approaches such as art therapy, Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed work, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and somatic mindfulness. My approach is gentle, paced, and process-oriented, with a focus on building safety, understanding patterns, and creating meaningful change over time. Together, we explore how these patterns developed and how they show up in daily life, while also building practical tools for emotional regulation, grounding, and self-understanding. My clients often value a blend of insight-oriented and experiential work, including creative and somatic approaches, to support both emotional processing and real-life change. You don’t need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. I offer a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where you can move at your own pace, build clarity, and begin to feel more grounded and supported in your life.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I’m especially well-suited for clients who want to be creative with art therapy or go deeper than just surface-level coping and who are curious about their inner world, even if they feel overwhelmed or unsure where to start. Many of my clients notice patterns such as people-pleasing, perfectionism, difficulty setting boundaries, avoiding conflict or anxiety connected to past experiences. I also enjoy working with clients who are interested in trauma-focused work, including approaches like somatic grounding, parts work and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), to process and move through experiences that continue to impact their present. My ideal clients are open to self-reflection and curious about their inner world, even if they feel overwhelmed or unsure where to start.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I integrate ACT to help clients notice and accept difficult internal experiences with compassion while building psychological flexibility and taking small, values-based steps toward healing, connection, and a more fulfilling life.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

I offer IFS-informed therapy by helping clients gently explore their different inner parts with curiosity and compassion, understanding how these parts develop to protect and support them, and working toward greater internal balance, self-understanding, and healing.

Trauma Informed Care

I provide trauma-informed care in a safe, supportive space where clients can move at their own pace, explore how past experiences shape current thoughts, emotions, and relationships, and build on their strengths while developing tools for healing, growth, and resilience with greater compassion and self-understanding.

Mind-body approach

I believe healing involves both the mind and body, so I help clients understand how their thoughts, emotions, and physical experiences influence one another while building practical skills for greater well-being.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I integrate CBT with trauma-informed care, parts work, mindfulness, and somatic awareness to help clients recognize patterns in their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, challenge self-defeating beliefs, and create meaningful, sustainable change.

Cherish is awesome at listening. I talk fast and hop all over the place with my stories and she is very easily able to wrangle me to a cohesive thought, or action, etc. It's really nice when I have a million emotions going on to have someone like Cherish help me sort them and understand them.
