Still carrying things from the past? Feeling stuck, lost or overwhelmed? There’s a way forward. You don’t have to figure it out alone. I offer in-person therapy for adults in Westchase, FL or tele-therapy to adults across Florida, using approaches like trauma-informed care, mindfulness, Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), art therapy, and other supportive modalities. My goal is to provide a safe, compassionate space for healing and growth. Whether you’re coping with trauma, stress, grief, anxiety, low self-esteem or depression, we’ll work together to discover new ways to cope, express yourself, and create a more fulfilling life. You can learn more about me and my practice on my website: www.CherishMentalHealth.com
During our initial session, I will ask questions to get to know you, we will delve into the issues at hand, and collaborate to create a plan for addressing them in a way that helps.
My therapeutic approach is integrative, because I believe therapy should be personalized—not one-size-fits-all. I draw from trauma-informed care, Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS) and mindfulness. I can incorporate art therapy to help explore emotions, work through personal or relational challenges, and express themselves. I’ve learned how much I value helping people discover their own sense of happiness and being someone others can trust. As your therapist, my goal is to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you feel safe being yourself. I’ll guide and encourage you as you build your own toolkit for growth, healing, and resilience.
I work best with adults who are feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck in patterns they don’t fully understand—especially in relationships, self-worth, or major life transitions. Many of my clients find themselves burnt out, overthinking, or emotionally shut down. I’m especially well-suited for clients who want to be creative with art therapy or go deeper than just surface-level coping. Together, we explore how past experiences shape present patterns—like people-pleasing, difficulty setting boundaries, or avoiding conflict—while also building practical tools to manage anxiety, regulate emotions, and feel more grounded day-to-day. I also enjoy working with clients who are interested in trauma-focused work, including approaches like somatic grounding, parts work and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), to process and move through experiences that continue to impact their present. My ideal clients are open to self-reflection and curious about their inner world, even if they feel overwhelmed or unsure where to start. They may struggle with anxiety, relationship stress, burnout, trauma, or unwanted behaviors, and want support in feeling more connected to themselves, more secure in relationships, and more in control of their emotions.

Cherish is awesome at listening. I talk fast and hop all over the place with my stories and she is very easily able to wrangle me to a cohesive thought, or action, etc. It's really nice when I have a million emotions going on to have someone like Cherish help me sort them and understand them.
