About me

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who believes therapy doesn’t have to feel like sitting in a stiff chair while someone silently nods at you. I bring both professionalism and a sense of humor into the room, because sometimes laughter really is the best coping skill .I’ve worked with teens, college students, and adults for the last 7 years. Some common concerns I have helped navigate are stress, anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationships, and the big messy in-betweens that don’t necessarily always fit neatly into a diagnosis.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

My goal in the first session is to create a comfortable, judgment-free space where you feel safe to share at your own pace. We’ll talk about your goals, background, what’s working (and not working) in your life, and start shaping a plan that feels realistic and helpful. Think of it as a relaxed conversation to map out a game plan.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I've had a variety of experience with different age groups. I meet my clients where they are at with a warm approach and some humor along the way.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My approach is collaborative, practical, and a little bit human (yes, I drink coffee, forget my keys, and binge Netflix too). I pull from evidence-based practices like cognitive behavioral therapy but tailor therapy to your unique needs. I see therapy as a partnership where you bring your lived experience, and I bring tools, perspective, and sometimes a corny metaphor or two. Together, we’ll work toward creating meaningful changes in your life—at your pace, in your style.

Andrea creates a space that feels safe enough to share the root of my challenges. She validates how I feel in situations even if I receive corrective feedback or an alternative way to approach or view the situations we speak on. She remains consistent and is able to help an individual catch their own flaw without speaking down or at her clients. My favorite ability she has is the consistent way she can follow the wildest unorganized tellings of challenges.. I like to call them 'brain dumps'.
