Shoma Vyas

LMHC (she/her)12 years of experience

Hi. I'm Shoma. I’m a warm, engaging, and empowering therapist who enjoys working with adults navigating life transitions, career shifts, relationship changes, burnout, anxiety, and questions of identity and purpose. My approach is direct yet supportive, helping clients gain clarity, reconnect with themselves, and move forward with greater confidence and intention.

First session

I want our first session to be as inviting and comfortable as possible. To give you an idea, during the first session, we'll spend time getting to know each other - brief introductions and background including understanding what brought you in and why now. You’re welcome to ask me anything about how I work. After that we’ll go over the practical details like confidentiality and scheduling and get into your goals for therapy. You’ll leave with a sense of direction and a concrete plan for our work together.

Strengths

I won’t just listen—I’ll help you connect patterns, build awareness, and take meaningful steps forward. Therapy with me is a space where you can slow down, be honest, and start making decisions that actually align with you. If you’re ready to feel grounded, clear, and in control, I invite you to reach out. Schedule your first session and let's talk about your goals.

Ideal clients

Are you the person who seems to have it all together—but internally, something feels off? If you’re navigating a major life transition: a career shift, burnout, a relationship change, or simply a growing sense that the life you’ve built no longer fits, I'm your ally to help empower you through change. You’re used to being capable, driven, and high-functioning—but lately, you feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from yourself. You might find yourself asking: “Why doesn’t this feel right anymore?” “What do I actually want next?” This is the kind of work I specialize in. I help high-functioning adults who are going through life and identity transitions.

Treatment methods
