Hello and welcome, I’m Annie Altenor a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-QS) based in Florida. I received my Masters from Barry University and have been practicing for over 9 years. I have experience working with individuals and families helping them navigate life’s most challenging transitions. I have experience working in a wide range of populations in various settings from end-of-life, mental health, Caregivers and Veterans, adults struggling with career stress and burnout. Hello everyone, my name is Carolina Gonzalez. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 24 years of experience providing compassionate, evidence-based care to individuals, including adolescents, couples and families. I support clients through challenges such as depression, anxiety, life transitions, trauma, relationship concerns and parenting. My approach is collaborative and tailored to each person's needs with methods such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), mindfulness techniques, and strength-based interventions. Hi there:) My name is Lauren. I’ve been providing therapy for about 11 years now. I have experience with just about every population from school age to the elder years. I believe strongly in the mind/body connection and the utilization of a holistic, client centered approach to address both physical and mental health as they both work in conjunction to promote quality of life. One of my greatest passions is helping others learn the skills they need in order to evolve into the best version of themselves.
Hello there! I am so happy you took the first step in reaching out. A little about me, I am first and foremost here for you. You drive how we work together. I am a gentle therapist in the way that we work together. I do not feel making anyone cry is necessary and feeling safe is of utmost importance. This does not mean you are not going to learn and improve. We will work hard and you will know I am here to work with you and not make you feel any worse than you may already feel.
I have years of experience working with individuals, couples and partners. I am also a Veteran and understand that lifestyle. I have worked with non-traditional families, taught parenting courses, worked in the schools with children, specialized for 9 years in terminal illness and end of life issues and much more. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is the approach I base most of my work on with you. This approach works well with many situations such as managing ADHD, depression, anxiety, partner/family communication and relationships, etc. Many times changing the way we think about a situation and how true our beliefs on the situations are, it will make changes in our beliefs and in turn change the way we feel (as a positive). Granted, we will ultimately work the way that fits your needs best. If you just need someone to listen, I can do that. If you are ready to dive into your current situation(s) and make them feel better, I will walk with you on that journey as well. Together we will find the answers you are searching for. I look forward to working with you. Let's take the next step together!
I’m Iveline Perez, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over nine years of experience in the mental health field. I provide virtual therapy to adults in Florida who may be navigating trauma, anxiety, mood concerns, relationship challenges, life transitions, or simply feeling stuck and unsure of where to begin. I believe therapy is a space where you should feel seen, heard, respected, and supported without judgment.
I work with individuals who want to feel more confident, grounded, and fulfilled in their lives. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling anxious, stuck, or unsure of how to cope with ongoing stress, relationship struggles, or self-doubt. They’re often caring and capable people who appear to have it together on the outside but feel overwhelmed or disconnected on the inside.
My goal is to provide a safe, supportive space where you can explore what’s getting in the way of feeling your best. Together, we’ll work on building coping tools, improving self-esteem, and creating more balanced, authentic relationships. I take a collaborative approach—one that combines compassion with practical strategies—to help you better understand your emotions, break unhelpful patterns, and make lasting change.
Therapy with me often involves strengthening emotional awareness, identifying core beliefs, and learning new ways to respond to challenges. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, perfectionism, people-pleasing, or simply feeling “not enough,” our work focuses on helping you reconnect with your sense of worth and agency.
Relationships are a central part of healing, both with others and with yourself. In our sessions, we’ll explore communication, boundaries, and self-trust, helping you develop skills that support healthier, more fulfilling connections. I also integrate mindfulness and cognitive-behavioral strategies to help you stay present, manage stress, and build resilience.
Ultimately, I believe therapy is a process of self-discovery—one that helps you move from surviving to truly living. My goal is for you to leave each session feeling understood, empowered, and equipped with the tools you need to navigate life with greater confidence and clarity.

THERAPY FOR WOMEN IN MIDLIFE — INCLUDING THERAPISTS
You're the one others rely on — at work and at home. You show up for everyone. You keep everything running — managing your career and your household, and often growing kids and aging parents at the same time. Somewhere along the way, you stopped making it onto your own list. It's all becoming too heavy — now you're starting to feel it, emotionally and physically.
Therapy at Seaside is a space to pause, reflect, and start to feel like yourself again.
HI, I'M GAIL — THERAPIST & OWNER OF SEASIDE MENTAL WELLNESS.
I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with nearly 30 years in the field, much of it spent inside the healthcare system, supporting women through some of the most significant moments of their lives.
IN MIDLIFE, IT'S RARELY JUST ONE THING. The anxiety that increases in your late 30s. The moment in your 40s when you catch yourself thinking, "I don't feel like myself anymore". A marriage, a career, even your body — things that stop fitting in your 50s. These chapters are part of the same story. The anxiety, the burnout, the transitions, the emotional side of perimenopause tend to arrive at once, overlapping one another. We can untangle this together.
SEASIDE IS RECOGNIZED LOCALLY AND TRUSTED STATEWIDE: SRQ Magazine's 2026 Platinum Winner (Best Local Mental Health Service) and 2025 Silver Winner (Best Local Therapist) , plus Guide to Florida's 2026 (Best Individual Therapist) and 2025 Regional Winner (Best Therapy Practice).
SEASIDE IS BASED IN LAKEWOOD RANCH, serving women in Bradenton and Sarasota — and across the Gulf Coast, from Tampa to Naples. All sessions are online, so support fits your life, without the traffic, the waiting room, or the time off work.
Hi! I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and have been practicing for over 30 years. I received my masters in counseling at the University of Memphis. I worked with college students while getting my masters with personal career counseling. After becoming licensed in Florida, I worked specifically with service members and their families with anxiety, depression, post traumatic stress disorder, spouse and child abuse and marital issues. During the past 3 years I have worked with young adults to retired adults addressing individual, work and family issues. It has been my pleasure to guide hundreds of people to a healthier, happier life style that enables them to do what they want to in life without what appears to be impossible barriers like depression, stress and anxiety.
Greetings and nice to meet you. I'm Lucenda.
Guess what? You deserve to live a life that brings you happiness and peace and I personally believe that you can give this to yourself.
I am passionate about helping you identify and process the major concerns and blockages in your mind and life that are stopping you from living your best life. Together, we will work to identify triggers, anxieties, and negative life attributes that are draining you. We will then work to increase fulfillment in your life through thought-challenging, mindfulness, art therapy, and much more.
I am an enthusiastic and passionate LCSW with experience providing individual, family, and couples therapy. My clinical experience includes depression, anxiety, trauma, parenting, and more. I help individuals increase their ability to care for themselves mentally, spiritually, and physically.
I’m a licensed clinical social worker specializing in helping individuals manage depression, anxiety, and life’s challenges. My approach combines evidence-based methods like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing with empathy and understanding to create a safe, supportive space for growth. I meet clients where they are and work collaboratively to identify goals, build coping skills, and create meaningful change. My goal is to empower you to feel more confident, resilient, and hopeful as you move toward the life you want.
Thank you for taking time to learn a little about me. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Certified Addictions Professional with over 28 years of counseling experience in clinical, private and educational settings. I practice Client-centered therapy. For those who are unfamiliar with Client-centered therapy it is based on the practice that the CLIENT is best able to decide what to explore and mark as a goal of treatment. I empower all my clients without compromising empathy. Whatever the reason any individual, couple, or family comes to me, I challenge their skillset to solve problems and restore resolve; not simply provide short-term solutions. The first step to achieve this is to build a rapport with essential empathy and unconditional positive regard.
I believe in relationships. Seems a little elementary but one's physical, mental, and overall wellness is dependent on relations that we have with each other. No matter how large or small one's family is, and/or social circle we were all meant to establish and grow relationships. No level of true self-reflection would escape this fact. I witnessed this to be true in all of my clients as with myself.
I currently reside Central Florida with my wife, son, and three daughters. As a family we enjoy an active lifestyle supportive of one another and the family dynamic.
I welcome the opportunity to work with you, feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

My name is Corina Forte, and I am a bilingual mental health counselor providing therapy in both English and Spanish. For the past 15 years, I have supported adults navigating anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, relationship difficulties, emotional overwhelm, major life transitions, mood concerns, and the impact of serious illness.
Many of the people I work with are capable, caring, and accustomed to holding everything together for others, yet feel anxious, exhausted, disconnected from themselves, or unsure of what they need. Therapy can offer a space to slow down, better understand the patterns shaping your emotions and relationships, and begin responding to life with greater clarity and intention.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and honest. I strive to create a nonjudgmental environment where clients feel genuinely understood, while also offering thoughtful guidance and gentle challenge when it may help them move forward. I believe therapy should provide both deeper self-understanding and practical tools that can be applied in everyday life.
I tailor my work to each person rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. I draw from evidence-based, trauma-informed, cognitive behavioral, existential, Gestalt, mindfulness-based, and expressive approaches, depending on each client’s needs and goals.
My goal is to help you feel more grounded, develop a healthier relationship with your emotions, make choices that reflect who you are, and create meaningful changes that feel sustainable beyond the therapy room.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), practicing in sunny South Florida. I am originally from New York, but have lived here in the sunshine state for over a decade. I focus my practice on assisting young adults navigate through various struggles including but not limited to: adjustment difficulties due to life changes, educational transitions, anxiety and depression, obesssive-compulsive-disorder, alcoholism/addiction, trauma and PTSD. My clients would describe me as a down to earth, thoughtful, interesting, and fun individual!
I use a client-centered approach, in combination with CBT, strengths-based, and solution-focused therapy modalities. I am highly dedicated to my clients and enjoy working with and aiding in the newfound process of healing, stability, and growth. I look forward to getting to know you!
You DESERVE to Re-SET, To Re-FUEL, To Re-CHARGE. And then TAKE FLIGHT! Since entering the field of therapy I have learned to ascribe to the adage “all behavior has meaning.” Yes, ALL behavior. A deep curiosity for why we all act and think the way we do coupled with my own life’s challenges and experiences has led me to a place of compassion for not only my own life choices but compassion for others. Our thoughts lead to feelings, which leads to action. We are not always proud of our actions. As a woman, mother, wife, and veteran I know all too well the shame that comes with our personal choices and behaviors. I also know there is also a fear of JUDGEMENT when it comes to considering therapy. This is a no-judgement zone and if you are seeking a different feeling and action in your life then you have landed at the right place!
I enjoy working with adolescents and adults who are experiencing concerns with, but not limited to: anxiety, depression, critical self-talk, interpersonal relationships, emotional dysregulation, and parent/child conflict and connection. I have worked in various clinical settings providing crisis stabilization and therapy services to individuals of all ages. I utilize a holistic and personalized approach, specializing in trauma, interpersonal relationships, loss and grief, parent/child relationships, adolescent challenges, and parent support. I employ a straightforward and empathetic approach while utilizing strength-based and person-centered perspectives to help those I work with obtain their treatment goals and realize their greatest potential.

I'm a holistic counselor, meaning that I will help you explore multiple aspects of your life, including how you engage socially, how you think about situations, how you manage or express your emotions, your behaviors and skills, the quality of your interactions with family and friends, and other areas. I believe that we all have untapped resources, both internal and external, that we can use to make our lives better.
In terms of my background, I have worked in non-profit and two private practice environments. I have also served as a faculty member in clinical mental health counseling programs since 2011. I train future generations of counselors to work with people.
I hold several licenses and certifications. I am a Nationally Certified Counselor as well as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida and a Licensed Professional Counselor in Tennessee. I am also a Qualified Supervisor in Florida. I have published several manuscripts, a book on the assessment and treatment of trauma and I have current works in press. conventions.
