I am an LMHC with over 10 years' experience in the mental health field. I have worked in hospital settings, within the community, and in private practice, supporting diverse clients across the lifespan. I believe in therapy both as a practitioner and a consumer, and I specialize in building emotional intelligence, resilience, and mood regulation. I approach clients with tailored goals to foster lasting, meaningful change.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

That first session can be pretty intimidating. Take a deep breath, you're in control. During our first session we'll take time to learn about what brought you to therapy and start exploring what you want to get out of our time together. We may gather some history and some current events. But dont worry- you will be invited to share as little or as much as you are comfortable with.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I believe strongly in the therapeutic alliance ( the client/therapist relationship). I will always meet you where you are, offer gentle and supportive encouragement, and challenge you to alternative ways of thinking when needed. I will always respect you as the expert of your own life and follow your lead.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work with clients navigating life transitions—career changes, relationship shifts, or new chapters. Clients come to me often feeling anxious, stressed, or a bit lost. They want practical tools, compassionate support, and values-driven clarity to rebuild direction and manage emotions. I offer evidence-based approaches (CBT, ACT, DBT) tailored to each person's values and goals to foster resilience, self-compassion, and meaningful growth.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

My ACT experience is transformative and evidence-based, grounded in mindful, acceptance-based and values-focused practice that cultivates psychological flexibility, committed action, and distress tolerance; I’ve deepened this with additional ACT training—enabling ethical, skilled integration across diverse clinical populations.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is one of the most widely used, evidence-based approaches to therapy. It teaches clients to identify and challenge unhelpful thoughts, beliefs, and behaviors to create meaningful change in feelings and functioning. CBT’s core principles underpin and inform many other therapeutic models because of its practical, problem-focused effectiveness.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

My DBT experience is skills-focused, evidence-based, dialectical, validating, and pragmatic, emphasizing mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness; I’ve enhanced this through additional DBT training. Utilizing DBT allows my clients to be challenged by different perspectives, radial acceptance, and trusting that multiple truths can be exist at one time. I have post licensure and post graduation multi day training in DBT

Person-centered (Rogerian)

The foundation of all therapeutic work is Carl Rogers’ person-centered theory, which emphasizes the centrality of the therapeutic relationship: finding the right fit, offering an open, nonjudgmental space, and respecting clients as experts in their own lives. Therapy meets clients where they are, supporting self-actualization and alignment of values with behavior.
