I’m a licensed mental health counselor and marriage and family therapist based in Miami, Florida, with over 8 years of experience supporting individuals and couples through life’s emotional challenges. I work with adults navigating anxiety, stress, relationship issues, life transitions, and depression, and I offer a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard and supported. My style is collaborative, grounded, and compassionate. I believe therapy should be a safe place to explore what’s really going on beneath the surface—and to begin shifting patterns that no longer serve you. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or unsure of what you need, we’ll work together to help you feel more in control, more empowered, and more connected to yourself and the people you care about. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) along with other evidence-based approaches to help clients understand how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors interact. That means we might gently challenge self-critical thinking, find new ways to manage anxiety or stress, or work on setting healthy boundaries in relationships. I also draw from systems theory in my work with couples and families, helping clients recognize how past dynamics may be influencing present struggles—and how to build new, healthier ways of relating. My clients often tell me they feel a sense of relief just being able to speak openly, without pressure to have all the answers. I believe therapy is not about fixing you—because you're not broken. It’s about giving you the space and tools to care for yourself in a deeper way. If you’re ready to begin this process, I’m here to walk alongside you.
In our first session, you can expect a conversation—not an interrogation. I want us both to have a chance to get to know one another. You’ll have space to share what’s bringing you in and what you’re hoping to get out of therapy, but there’s no pressure to have everything figured out. I’ll ask some questions to help understand your history, current concerns, and any goals you’d like to work toward, but it’s just as important that you get a feel for me and how I work. This is your space, and feeling safe, heard, and respected is the foundation of everything we’ll do together. My goal for our first session is to begin building trust and to make sure you leave feeling a little more supported than when you came in.
One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is my ability to hold space for clients with empathy, clarity, and zero judgment. I know how hard it can be to open up, especially when you’re used to carrying a lot on your own. Clients often tell me they feel genuinely seen and understood in our sessions—that they don’t have to pretend or perform. I’m also skilled at helping people make sense of their emotional experiences and identify the patterns that keep them stuck, while offering practical tools that feel manageable and respectful of where they are in the process. Whether I’m working with someone facing anxiety, navigating a relationship challenge, or healing from long-held emotional wounds, I stay grounded, curious, and compassionate. I see therapy as a collaborative process, and I’m committed to walking alongside my clients—not ahead of them—every step of the way.
I work best with adults and couples who are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected—whether that’s from themselves, their relationships, or their sense of direction in life. Many of my clients are navigating high levels of stress or anxiety, struggling with low self-esteem, or feeling burnt out from trying to meet everyone else’s needs while neglecting their own. I also support people dealing with depression, relationship tension, and major life transitions like parenthood, separation, or career changes. I especially enjoy working with individuals who are insightful and motivated to better understand themselves, even if they’re unsure where to start. If you’ve ever felt like you have to keep it all together for others but feel lost inside, you’re not alone—and therapy can be a space to let some of that weight down. In my couples work, I help partners who feel like they’re having the same arguments over and over, who have grown distant, or who are trying to rebuild trust and communication. I create a space where both people can feel heard and begin to reconnect with intention and care. Whether you’re seeking support for your mental health, your relationships, or both, I’m here to walk with you—at your pace, with respect for your story and your goals.
CBT is a big part of how I work with clients, especially those dealing with anxiety, stress, depression, or relationship challenges. I like that it's practical and helps people really understand the connection between what they're thinking, how they're feeling, and how they're reacting. In sessions, I help clients notice patterns that might be keeping them stuck—like harsh self-talk, worst-case thinking, or unhelpful habits—and we work together to gently challenge those patterns and build new ways of coping. I bring in tools like thought-tracking, grounding techniques, and real-world experiments to help make the changes feel doable. For me, it's not about forcing positive thinking—it’s about helping people feel more in control and supported, especially when life feels overwhelming.
