I’m a licensed mental health counselor and licensed marriage and family therapist based in Miami, Florida, with over 8 years of experience supporting individuals and couples through life’s emotional challenges. I work with adults navigating anxiety, stress, relationship issues, life transitions, and depression, and I offer a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard and supported. My style is collaborative, grounded, and compassionate. I believe therapy should be a safe place to explore what’s really going on beneath the surface and to begin shifting patterns that no longer serve you. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or unsure of what you need, we’ll work together to help you feel more in control, more empowered, and more connected to yourself and the people you care about. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) along with other evidence-based approaches to help clients understand how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors interact. That means we might gently challenge self-critical thinking, find new ways to manage anxiety or stress, or work on setting healthy boundaries in relationships. I also draw from systems theory in my work with couples and families, helping clients recognize how past dynamics may be influencing present struggles and how to build new, healthier ways of relating. My clients often tell me they feel a sense of relief just being able to speak openly, without pressure to have all the answers. I believe therapy is not about fixing you because you're not broken. It’s about giving you the space and tools to care for yourself in a deeper way. If you’re ready to begin this process, I’m here to walk alongside you.
In our first session, you can expect a conversation, not an interrogation. I want us both to have a chance to get to know one another. You’ll have space to share what’s bringing you in and what you’re hoping to get out of therapy, but there’s no pressure to have everything figured out. I’ll ask some questions to help understand your history, current concerns, and any goals you’d like to work toward, but it’s just as important that you get a feel for me and how I work. This is your space, and feeling safe, heard, and respected is the foundation of everything we’ll do together. My goal for our first session is to begin building trust and to make sure you leave feeling a little more supported than when you came in.
One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is my ability to hold space for clients with empathy, clarity, and zero judgment. I know how hard it can be to open up, especially when you’re used to carrying a lot on your own. Clients often tell me they feel genuinely seen and understood in our sessions that they don’t have to pretend or perform. I’m also skilled at helping people make sense of their emotional experiences and identify the patterns that keep them stuck, while offering practical tools that feel manageable and respectful of where they are in the process. Whether I’m working with someone facing anxiety, navigating a relationship challenge, or healing from long-held emotional wounds, I stay grounded, curious, and compassionate. I see therapy as a collaborative process, and I’m committed to walking alongside my clients, not ahead of them, every step of the way.
Life can feel overwhelming when you are carrying stress, anxiety, relationship tension, or the pressure to keep everything together. I work with adults and couples who feel stuck, disconnected, burned out, or unsure how to move forward. My style is warm, collaborative, and practical. I aim to create a space where you feel heard, supported, and not judged. Together, we can explore the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, better understand your emotions and needs, and build tools that help you feel more grounded and confident in your daily life. I often draw from Emotionally Focused Therapy, solution-focused therapy, CBT, ACT, and psychoeducation. This means our work may include understanding thought and behavior patterns, identifying emotional needs, improving communication, building coping skills, and taking meaningful steps toward the changes you want. In couples work, I support partners who feel caught in the same arguments, emotionally distant, or unsure how to rebuild trust and connection. I help couples slow down conflict cycles, communicate more clearly, and reconnect with care and intention. Whether you are seeking support for anxiety, depression, stress, self-esteem, life transitions, or relationship concerns, therapy can be a place to feel less alone and more supported as you move forward.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and practical. I often draw from CBT, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and solution-focused techniques to support clients experiencing anxiety, stress, depression, or relationship challenges. I help clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, while also making space for deeper emotional needs, relationship patterns, and personal strengths. In our work together, we may explore patterns such as self-criticism, worst-case thinking, emotional overwhelm, or feeling stuck in the same relationship dynamics. I use tools like grounding, thought tracking, reflection, and goal-focused strategies to help change feel manageable and meaningful. Rather than focusing on “just thinking positively,” I aim to help clients feel more connected, supported, and capable of moving forward.
Psychoeducation
Psychoeducation is a natural part of my work with clients. I use it to help people better understand what they are feeling, why certain patterns show up, and how their thoughts, emotions, body, and behaviors are connected. I often find that clients feel relief when they realize their reactions make sense and that they are not “broken.” I explain concepts in a simple, relatable way so clients can feel more informed, less ashamed, and more confident in understanding themselves. My goal is to help clients build awareness and practical tools they can use in everyday life.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
I use solution-focused therapy to help clients recognize their strengths, build on what is already working, and take realistic steps toward change. This approach can be helpful for clients navigating stress, anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, life transitions, or feeling stuck. In sessions, I help clients clarify their goals, explore exceptions to the problem, and identify small, manageable next steps. My goal is to help clients feel more hopeful, capable, and empowered as they move toward meaningful change.
Couples Counseling
I support couples who are navigating communication challenges, repeated conflict, emotional disconnection, trust concerns, life transitions, or feeling stuck in the same patterns. My approach is warm, balanced, and collaborative, creating space for each partner to feel heard and understood. In sessions, I help couples slow down conflict cycles, identify underlying emotions and needs, and build healthier ways of communicating and reconnecting. I often draw from Emotionally Focused Therapy, solution-focused techniques, and psychoeducation to help couples strengthen emotional safety, rebuild connection, and move toward meaningful change together.
