One of the main goals of therapy is to help you gain a better understanding of and manage life's challenges. Some key take aways from session will include identifying practical coping strategies that can be used to manage these challenges. As well as the opportunity vent and gain different perspectives.
I am partial to Cognitive Behavioral Techniques but often times use a more eclectic approach to treatment. A few of the treatment modalities I am comfortable using Cognitive Behavioral, Motivational Interviewing, Creative Therapies, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Problem Solving, Family Systems, Person Centered and Solution Focused treatment interventions.
