Hi, I’m Lillie! A social worker and therapist who values creating a supportive, collaborative, and nonjudgmental space for clients to explore life’s challenges. I work with individuals navigating relationship issues, identity shifts, boundaries, anxiety, emotional overwhelm, and the impact of past experiences on present-day relationships and self-esteem. My approach is relational, trauma-informed, and practical — combining insight, emotional processing, and coping skills to help clients feel more grounded, confident, and connected to themselves and others.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During our first session, clients can expect a supportive and nonjudgmental space focused on helping me better understand who they are, what they’ve been experiencing, and what has brought them to therapy. I’ll ask questions to gain a deeper understanding of your relationships, stressors, patterns, strengths, and goals while allowing space for you to share at a pace that feels comfortable. My goal is for clients to leave feeling heard, understood, and supported as we begin identifying what they hope to work toward in therapy.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I approach therapy in a way that balances emotional support, self-reflection, and practical growth. I help clients better understand relationship patterns, boundaries, identity, and emotional responses in a supportive and nonjudgmental space. My approach is also shaped by personal insight into LGBTQ+ identity and religious deconstruction, which allows me to bring an affirming, trauma-informed, and relational perspective to the work.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with clients who are navigating relationship challenges, identity shifts, life transitions, or patterns that no longer feel healthy or sustainable. Many of the clients I connect most with are working through boundaries, self-worth, communication difficulties, family dynamics, people-pleasing, or the impact past experiences and trauma may still have on their present relationships and sense of self. I especially enjoy supporting clients who are seeking deeper insight into themselves and their relational patterns while also building practical tools for emotional regulation, confidence, and healthier connections. My approach is supportive, collaborative, and reflective, creating space for clients to process difficult experiences while also focusing on growth, accountability, and healing. I strive to create a space where clients feel comfortable exploring who they are, what they need, and how they want to move forward in their lives and relationships.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to help clients slow down and notice the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. In sessions, this often looks like identifying patterns such as self-criticism, anxiety spirals, avoidance, or negative thinking and working together to reframe those thoughts in a way that feels more realistic and manageable. I also focus on practical strategies clients can use outside of session to support daily functioning, stress management, confidence, and emotional awareness.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I use DBT skills to help clients better manage intense emotions, improve communication, and build healthier coping strategies. I tend to incorporate DBT in a very practical and approachable way — helping clients learn grounding techniques, emotional regulation skills, distress tolerance, and ways to navigate conflict or relationships more effectively. I also emphasize balancing accountability with self-compassion.

Trauma Informed Care

I approach clients with the understanding that past experiences, relationships, environments, and stressors can deeply impact how someone copes, communicates, and moves through the world. I prioritize building trust and emotional safety in sessions and focus on meeting clients where they are without judgment. My approach is relationship-centered and helping clients feel supported while also empowering them to build insight, resilience, and confidence over time.
