Hi there, I'm Amy Do you feel depressed or anxious? Having trouble in a personal or professional relationship? Have you been feeling stuck or as if you’re repeating the same mistakes? Feeling dread, resentment and emptiness? You may feel you have lost your way and could be unsure of what comes next. You have options, even though they may not always be clear. Therapy can help. As a clinician, I pull from a variety of therapeutic styles including Experiential, Narrative, Acceptance and Commitment, Family Systems, Motivational Interviewing, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. You deserve to live a life that excites you, motivates you and leaves you feeling fulfilled. I know each person’s journey to feeling mentally well is distinct and unique, and it is my privilege to offer healing and transformation to those who seek help. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Counselor and a Qualified Supervisor in the state of Florida. I received my Master’s in Social work in 2013 from Florida Atlantic University. Since the completion of my degree, I have worked with an array of populations dealing with substance use, trauma, anxiety, Infertility, women’s issues, LGBTQIA+ issues, and eating disorders.
In our first sessions together, we will start with brief introductions. Then we will address specific issues you are facing, so that we can develop a plan for what we will be working on through the course of our sessions.
I use an eclectic approach that incorporates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Experiential techniques, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Family Systems Theory, Motivational interviewing, and Solution-Focused Therapy.
I understand how overwhelming therapy can be for some, but my warm and genuine approach puts my patients at ease.
