Why Work with Me? You may be the person everyone relies on, yet privately you're exhausted, anxious or questioning yourself. Perhaps you're struggling with a difficult relationship, recovering from emotional or narcissistic abuse, grieving a loss, or navigating a major life transition. You may know something needs to change but aren't quite sure how to move forward.
Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin exploring what brought you to therapy and what you hope to gain from it. We'll talk about what you've been expereincing, whats most important to you right now, and any questions or concerns you may have. There's no pressure to share everything at once- we'll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. We'll begin identifying your goals and discussing an approach tailored to your individual needs. Just as importantly, you'll have the opportunity to decide whether you feel comfortable with me and whether continuing to work with me feels like a good fit.
I offer a relaxed, supportive, nonjudgmental space where we can make sense of what you're expereincing, recognize patterns that may be keeping you stuck and develop practical ways to create change. Together, we'll work towards strengthening your self-trust, setting healthier boundaries, improving your relationships and helping you feel more confident in the choices you make.
My ideal client is someone who is ready for change, even if they're not quite sure where to begin. You may be dealing with anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, grief, or a major life transition. Perhaps you've spent years putting other people's needs ahead of your own, questioning yourself, or feeling responsible for keeping everything and everyone together. You don't need to have all the answers before coming to therapy. What matters most is a willingness to be curious about yourself, explore patterns that may no longer be serving you, and try new ways of responding to life's challenges. My goal is to help you strengthen your self-trust, develop healthier and more fulfilling relationships, feel more confident in your choices, and create a life that feels authentic and meaningful to you.

I use a trauma informed approach to help you understand how difficult or painful expereinces from the past may still affect how you feel, think, and respond today. We'll work at a pace that feels comfortable for you, helping you recognize triggers and patterns without feeling pressured to talk about things before you're ready. Together, we'll focus on helping you feel more confident, more in control of your responses, and less influenced by experiences from your past.
I believe you know yourself and your expereinces better than anyone. My role is to provide a relaxed, supportive and non-judgemental space where you feel heard and understood. We'll work together at a pace that feels comfortable for you, focusing on what matters most to you while helping you gain greater insight, confidence, and trust in yourself.
I use a mind-body approach to help you notice how your emotions and physical well-being affect one another. Together, we'll pay attention to how stress may show up in your body, sleep, energy, appetitie or daily habits. I may incorporate simple practices such as mindfulness, breathing, movement, and other forms of self-care to help you feel calmer, more present, and better able to respond to what you're experiencing.

I needed a trauma-informed therapist. She went to work trying to get my anxiety with depression under control. I am much better after working with Patricia Duff.
