I received my graduate clinical degree, M.S. in family therapy from Nova Southeastern University in 2014 and previous to this I received my undergraduate degree, B.S. in sociology with minors in psychology and child development in 2011 from Florida State University.

I am passionate about a healthy family system being at the utmost importance to allow an individual to live a fulfilled and well balanced lifestyle. My psychotherapy educational background, along with my concentration in both CBT and Solutions-Focused therapies assist me in my systemic approach to treatment both in the individual's heart and his or her mind as well as all of the physical environments the individual takes part in daily (work, school, home, social).
Clients my training and background would most benefit are those experiencing difficulty in their relationships with their children, parents, spouses, co-workers or other significant people in their lives; those whose anxiety or depression is holding them back, and those who are willing to work to reach their true potential.

I love my profession! I have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (independently licensed in FL and MA) for over 25 years with experience working with adults and adolescents, both female and male, inspiring hope while working together to develop essential life skills and healthy coping tools. I take a strength-based approach as I believe everyone can grow and change. The hardest and most important step is reaching out and asking for help, so you are on your way to a better place in your life.
Do you find that you tend to dwell on the past and things you can’t change? Do you worry about the future, the what if’s and things you cannot predict? Do you find that you are so busy in life, maybe taking care of others, putting their needs ahead of your own or you forget or don’t feel you have time to take care of yourself? That’s where I can help.
I specialize in treatment for depression, anxiety, PTSD, psychosocial stressors/major life changes, self-esteem building, social skills, trauma and grief. I am very knowledgeable about mental health diagnosis' however I concentrate less on the actual diagnosis because a mental illness does not define who you are. I am here to help guide you to a happy and healthy place in your life.

Hello, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug counselor. I am located in New Jersey. I have been in practice for 12+ years as a therapist and have another 10+ years as a case worker and administrator.
Outside of my practice, I am married and have two children. I enjoy travel and running and often try to weave an overall concept of fitness=wellness into my work.
I am so glad you reached out for help! I am passionate about helping people navigate life's difficulties with compassion and empathy. Oftentimes, it is our difficulties that are the catalyst for big change. I bring over 30 years of counseling experience in a variety of settings (Residential treatment, Intensive outpatient, EAP and private practice) but most enjoy connecting in individual sessions. I look forward to working with you and assisting you with living your best life.
If you are struggling, I’d like to offer a safe space where honesty and authenticity are values and encouraged. You don't need to waste time worrying about stigmas or perceptions, because seeing a therapist doesn't mean that anything is inherently wrong with you or that you don't have the capacity to solve your own problems. Family and friends can be incredible sources of support, but they often can feel compelled to "fix" the problems we discuss with them which can lead to us not wanting to burden them and, in turn, just holding on to things. I can offer an objective take, totally free from any judgment or expectations. Let's talk!
Hi, my name is Kayla. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a strong passion to help those who are struggling with various life stressors. In my therapy practice, I strive to create a space where clients feel safe, welcome, and empowered, while working through often painful and challenging life experiences. I specialize in trauma, PTSD, mood and anxiety disorders, grief, and self-esteem. I use a variety of evidence-based treatment methods and techniques that best meet the needs for each individual client. I assist clients in recognizing the connection between the mind and the body through incorporating somatic experiencing techniques.
I have over four years of clinical experience providing therapeutic services to individuals in inpatient and outpatient clinics and hospitals.
