I help everyday people individuals, teens, and couples work through the stress, trauma, and conflict that build up in a real life. Some of the people I see are carrying the weight of high-pressure work like the military, healthcare, or first response; others are just tired of holding it all together on their own. Either way, you get the same thing: a grounded, nonjudgmental space to say what's really going on, and practical tools to build a life that feels purposeful instead of just managed.

I have a calm, kind, and empathetic demeanor and I strive to cultivate a safe and inviting environment where clients feel comfortable to explore any obstacles they may be facing. I’m a warm, insight-oriented therapist who offers a steady, compassionate space for adults navigating grief, relational wounds, and the impact of growing up around emotional chaos or inconsistency. My approach is grounded in deep listening and curiosity—I help clients slow down and make sense of their inner experience, uncovering patterns that may have once been protective but now feel limiting. Together, we create room for new ways of relating—to yourself, to others, and to your story. Healing, in my work, begins with being deeply seen and understood.
Hi, I’m K’Nya! As a Marriage & Family Therapist, I am passionate about couple’s therapy and couples struggling in the area of communication and emotional intimacy. I have received extensive training working with high conflict couples and I also work with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, and life transition dilemmas! Hi, I'm Clarisa, a licensed therapist (LMHC) based in Florida. I was born in Venezuela and grew up in Miami, and I work with a lot of clients who are navigating identity, family expectations, or the push and pull of straddling two cultures, because I've lived that too. Outside the therapy room, you'll usually find me working out, cooking recipes I see on social media, spending time with friends and family, or unapologetically binging a TV show. I'm bilingual in English and Spanish, currently finishing my Doctorate in Psychology, and I also have a background in psychological evaluations, but what matters more day to day is that I show up curious, warm, and genuinely in your corner, not just taking notes.
I think it is important for a therapist to be able to implement multiple approaches to the therapy process in order to best serve a client. I do predominantly utilize cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed approaches, but I may modify the approach to best meet your needs and goals. My main focus is helping you make progress and meet your identified goals.
I initially was drawn to being a therapist because I wanted to help others meet life's challenges and understand that sometimes we need a partner/support on that journey. I have worked with many different populations over the course of my career, including children, teens, adults, and seniors. Additionally, I have experience working in many different settings, including community mental health, inpatient mental health units, juvenile justice, nursing homes, and adult corrections. I believe these varied experiences and populations have helped to make me a well-rounded therapist.

Life can look completely fine on the outside while feeling exhausting on the inside. You may be carrying anxiety, trauma, people pleasing, self-doubt, or simply the weight of trying to hold everything together. If you're looking for a therapist who is genuine, down-to-earth, and willing to meet you where you are, you're in the right place.
Starting therapy can feel intimidating, especially if this is your first time. You don't have to have everything figured out before reaching out. If you're ready for a therapist who will listen, laugh with you when appropriate, challenge you gently, and help you make meaningful changes, I'd love to meet you.
Clients who come to me are strong, and often need a compassionate, listening ear of someone who "gets it." Perhaps you're someone who has never seen a therapist, or maybe you are a seasoned pro. Either way, my goal is to help you better understand yourself, develop healthier patterns, and move toward the life you want.
Welcome. I am here for you!

Seeking therapy is a brave thing! You've already taken the first step. Let's work together.
Are you struggling with challenges that affect your emotional health and wellbeing? Do past experiences feel like they're limiting your potential? Are you looking for a safe space to explore your thoughts and feelings?
I'm a licensed psychotherapist who believes the therapeutic relationship is the most powerful catalyst for change. My goal is to partner with you toward your desired goals in a supportive, collaborative environment — working together to foster positive change and build strategies for self-empowerment.
I'm trained in EMDR therapy, based on the idea that our brains have a natural system for processing experiences so we can retain what serves our growth. When disturbing experiences overwhelm that system — or we lack the context to make sense of what happened — the effects can linger. EMDR uses bilateral (left-right) stimulation to activate the brain's natural processing system, helping you work through difficult experiences and release what no longer serves you.
I believe our past shapes our present and future, in both adaptive and maladaptive ways. I'd be honored to help you on your journey toward inner peace, self-love, and fulfillment.

Hi, thanks for stopping by!
The founding principles I have based my professional practice on are: empathy, respect, non-judgement and self-awareness. Very well acquainted personally and professionally with Anxiety, I have developed a specialty in this area. My approach to Anxiety and Mental Health in general, is one of "working with" rather than "fighting against". I have found it effective to start therapy by focusing on where the client is at on any given moment, and together working our way to where the client wants to be. My therapy style is Solution-focused, with emphasis on Cognitive-Behavioral techniques, also informed by Systems Theory, Humanistic and Psychodynamic concepts. I have always been fascinated with the study of the human mind, especially the unconscious, and the impact personal perspective has on the circumstances we experience.
Many people turn to psychotherapy or counseling for help with anxiety, depression, trauma, and painful relationship patterns, or simply because they feel something is missing from life. At times, we may lack the words to describe our struggles or suffering. By gaining insight into past relationships and experiences, many people begin to make progress toward overcoming these difficulties, becoming more effective in both their work and their personal lives. I am a licensed clinician with 20 years of experience helping individuals achieve a more fulfilling life.
