My name is Rachel, and I am a therapist based in South Florida. I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and later obtained my Master’s in Social Work from Barry University in Miami Shores. I am passionate about helping individuals navigate life’s challenges and create meaningful, lasting change. My goal is to provide a supportive, compassionate, and judgment-free space where clients feel safe exploring their thoughts, emotions, and experiences. I believe therapy is a collaborative process, and I work alongside my clients to help them build insight, strengthen coping skills, and move toward greater emotional well-being.
In the first session, I want to understand as many components of your life as possible. This involves your current job and living situation, background information about your upbringing and family dynamics, and your goals for treatment.
I am very non-judgmental, and I believe this is one of my biggest strengths as a therapist. I try by best to put myself into the cultural context and unique situations of my clients in order to best understand them.
I work primarily with adults who are motivated to engage in self-reflection and personal growth. My ideal clients are individuals navigating anxiety, depression, or life transitions who are ready to explore patterns in their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I provide a collaborative and supportive space where clients can gain insight, build coping strategies, and develop practical tools to manage stress, improve emotional regulation, and strengthen overall well-being. Together, we work to identify goals that are meaningful to you and create strategies to help you move toward a more balanced and fulfilling life.
Strength-Based
I think it is important to empower clients by acknowledging what they are doing right! While therapy definitely will still be a safe space to explore negative occurrences as needed, I strive to encourage clients to recognize their own unique strengths.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Changing automatic negative thinking patterns allows people to be able to reduce their tendency to criticize themselves. By changing out thoughts, we can also create new healthier habits that allow for more room for moments of joy.
Motivational Interviewing
Sometimes people need help exploring their motivations for change prior to making a change. I will help highlight the member's unique reasons for wanting to create change in their life.
Psychoeducation
By understanding our own psychology more, we can have more compassion for ourselves and more effectively create change.

I really enjoyed my session. I felt like I was talking to a friend I’ve known for years. She is very knowledgeable and intelligent. I will refer her to my friends. I plan to engage in future sessions with her to better my mental health. I have the upmost respect for her professionalism. She has been the best experience while continuing my journey to be the best version of myself.
