My name is Briana DiCesare, and I can’t wait to start working with you. I have been practicing for about 10 years, and have been licensed for nearly 7 years. I have worked with diverse populations on a variety of issues. I love watching people improve in the areas they want to improve in. Let’s work together to make positive changes in your life!
In your first session, we will get to know each other and make sure that I am the right therapist for you. I will listen to your concerns and we will work together to create a plan for you sessions.
I am a calm and understanding therapist. I work hard to make sure you are heard and feel progress in your life.
My ideal client is someone who is ready to make some changes in their life to better their life experiences. I have worked with clients who struggle with depression, anxiety, life changes, stress, and trauma. My goal is to help you have a more positive view of your own life, and help you feel comfortable when life seems out of balance.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I have been using CBT in my practice since I started working as a therapist. I give practical “homework” assignments so you can practice what we talk about in therapy. If homework isn’t for you, I also use motivational interviewing, so you can express your thoughts and feelings without judgement.
