About me

After overcoming some of my own personal struggles by utilizing therapy, I began my career in mental health with a deep passion for helping people find healing and purpose through some of life’s most difficult moments. Over the years, I’ve been privileged to work with dually diagnosed populations, lead multidisciplinary teams, and implement quality assurance programs that elevate client care. Originally trained in both Environmental Sciences and Anthropology, my perspective as a therapist is grounded in curiosity, connection, and respect for each person’s unique story.

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and I want to acknowledge the courage it takes to begin. I’m here to support you in making this journey meaningful and empowering. I offer a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can explore, heal, and grow—exactly as you are. In our first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other. I’ll ask questions to better understand what’s bringing you to therapy, what you’re hoping to work on, and how I can best support you. It’s also a chance for you to ask any questions and get a feel for how I work. There’s no pressure to share everything all at once—this is your space, and we’ll go at the pace that feels right for you.

Over the years, I’ve developed an eclectic therapeutic style, meaning I draw from a variety of evidence-based approaches rather than relying on a single method. I’ve trained extensively in CBT, ACT, and DBT, and I integrate strategies from each depending on the needs and preferences of the client. This flexibility allows me to adapt therapy to the person sitting in front of me—because not every client resonates with one specific model.
