About me

I help individuals, teens, and couples break free from cycles of stress, trauma, and conflict. Drawing on my background as a first responder, I provide a grounded, nonjudgmental space for those in high-pressure fields—like military, healthcare, and fire services—to overcome burnout and find emotional clarity. Whether working individually or with couples to rebuild connection, my focus is on delivering practical tools for a purposeful, fulfilling life.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In your first session, we focus on creating a bridge between the mind and the body, providing a culturally safe space where you don’t have to "code-switch" or explain away your lived experience. Especially for those new to therapy, we move at a pace that respects your story, shifting from just talking about problems to noticing how stress and high-pressure environments show up physically as tension or burnout. Through somatic awareness and radical acceptance, you will begin to identify these "body signals" and learn practical grounding techniques to settle your nervous system. By the end of our time, you’ll leave with a clearer understanding of your internal rhythm and a tangible tool to help you stay present and purposeful in your daily life.

The treatment methods and tools I utilize

My priority is to build a good rapport with my clients in an environment where they are comfortable discussing their stressors. Though I believe in accountability between my client's and myself, I offer a nonjudgmental environment.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What stands out about my approach is the bridge between first-responder grit and clinical precision, moving beyond traditional "talk therapy" to focus on how the body and mind operate under pressure. Rooted in the Athlete Model of mental conditioning, I treat emotional health like a high-performance skill, utilizing CBT and somatic awareness to help you recognize how stress physically manifests as tension or burnout. I provide a grounded, neutral environment where clients—particularly those from minority backgrounds and high-stress professions—can drop the "mask" and engage in radical acceptance. The results are practical: you don’t just gain insight; you gain a tangible toolkit of grounding techniques and communication strategies that allow you to move from a state of survival to a life of intentional purpose.
