My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and nonjudgmental. I strive to create a safe and supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to grow. I understand that reaching out for therapy can feel overwhelming, and I work to make the process feel comfortable, approachable, and meaningful from the very beginning.

Hi! I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in Texas, Missouri, Florida. I received a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Webster University and I have been practicing for many years. I achieved a doctorate degree in Forensic Psychology as well. I help children, adolescents, and adults with a variety of presenting concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and many more.
As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with nearly a decade of clinical experience, I work primarily with women navigating identity, meaning, and the weight of roles they didn't fully choose: partner, parent, employee, caretaker. My approach draws on existential therapy, which asks not "what's wrong with you" but "what kind of life do you want to be responsible for building," alongside a feminist lens that names how gender, power, and social expectation shape the problems we bring into the room. Together, these frameworks help clients move from managing symptoms to reclaiming authorship over their own lives.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Addictions Professional, I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults who struggle with trauma, anxiety, depression, substance use, grief, behavioral issues, and life transitions. I take a compassionate, supportive, trauma informed approach. I aim to provide clients with a safe space that they feel heard, respected, and equipped to develop healthier coping skills, emotional strength, and life changes.

My goal is to help you build a more loving relationship with yourself and create a life that feels aligned and meaningful.
I work with individuals who have faced traumatic life events and Individuals with complex behavioral needs.
I have 12 years of experience in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) working with individuals diagnosed on the autism spectrum, and 8 years of experience that includes parent training, conducting individual and family therapy, and 4 years working with clients who have experienced trauma. I provide parent training, family, couples, and individual therapy in a safe and supportive environment. I encourage open discussion and problem analysis with a solution focused mindset.
I have worked with individuals ranging from 2 to 50 years of age in homes, schools, clinics, hospitals, and communities.
I believe human beings are resilient, and given the right support have the ability to activate untapped potential within themselves to love, heal, and thrive

My work encompasses individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, ADHD, depression, manage or improve addictive behavior, emotional dysregulation and life transitions (including women's issues). My work is informed by formal training in EMDR as well as, traditional talk therapy with a strong foundation in CBT and DBT—but therapy with me isn’t about rigid techniques or worksheets for the sake of it.
I focus on helping clients understand why patterns exist, not just how to manage symptoms. EMDR allows us to work at the root level and utilize the integration of traditional talk therapy with CBT and DBT. Cognitive and Dialectical behavioral therapies provide practical tools for navigating daily life such as, mindfulness practices and working to defeat cognitive distortions that impact our relationships. I integrate these approaches thoughtfully, adapting the work to the person in front of me rather than forcing a one-size-fits-all model.
Clients often describe my style as direct, solution focused, collaborative, and grounded. The bond that is created between us is the most important, and I believe meaningful change happens when therapy feels both safe, person centered and honest—where insight leads to action, and healing is something we actively build together.

Hi, I’m Anakarla.
If you’ve been feeling anxious, stuck, hard on yourself, or unsure of who you’re becoming, you’re not alone, and you don’t have to sort it out by yourself. Many of the people I work with are used to “holding it together” on the outside, while quietly feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or questioning their direction on the inside.
I’m a Latina therapist who believes therapy should feel warm, supportive, and rooted in real connection, not clinical or distant. My approach is collaborative and person-centered, which means we move at your pace and work together as a team. I see you as the expert of your own life, and my role is to help you make sense of your experiences, gently challenge what’s not serving you, and support you in building a life that feels more aligned and fulfilling.
Our work together is a mix of reflection and action. We’ll explore patterns in your thoughts, emotions, and relationships, while also building practical tools you can use in your everyday life. I often incorporate approaches like CBT, ACT, DBT, and mindfulness, but in a way that feels natural, not overwhelming or overly technical. Think of it as creating a toolkit that helps you not just cope, but feel more grounded, confident, and intentional in how you live.
I also believe healing doesn’t always have to feel heavy. When it feels right, I bring in humor and lightness to help you feel more at ease and human in the process.
"You are your best thing"-Toni Morrison. Growing through this journey we call life will unfortunately bring things you can't control & it's not always easy to cope & it's not always easy to talk to someone. Going to therapy doesn't "fix" you. It enhances you, it helps you to better understand why you struggle with certain patterns & behaviors & why you feel stuck at times. So, pat yourself on the back for choosing yourself, right now in this moment & for making the right decision to strive beyond where you are. Know you don't have to walk this journey alone.
I'm a diverse & creative therapist who is passionate about helping people rise above unfortunate obstacles to help them reach a potential they didn't know they had within them. Yes, you have the potential to be a better version of yourself. It has always been there. It's the inner strength you haven't tapped into yet.
Some of my specialties are helping individuals who struggle with: low-self esteem, relationship issues, PTSD, over-thinking, boundary setting, codependency, low-confidence, self-worth & perfectionism, high achiever's.
Ask yourself this one question in this very moment, what's holding you back? Let's walk this journey together. You got this!

As a mental health professional for over twenty-five years, I am dedicated to helping clients explore options and strategies so that they may live a healthier and happier life. I provide compassionate care and counseling to individuals in Illinois, Missouri and Florida via Telehealth. I possess a Master’s Degree in Social Work specializing in Mental Health and Addictions. I also have completed a Master of Business Administration Degree focused on Healthcare Management. I am a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and enjoy spending time with my family, fishing, camping and traveling.
I have extensive experience in Leadership and Direct Care positions within Inpatient and Outpatient Behavioral Health and Substance Abuse Recovery and Rehabilitation facilities. As a result of those experiences, I witnessed and truly believe mental health and addiction recovery is possible. As we each experience our life’s journey, the good, bad, and ugly, we continue to learn and grow along the way. Many journeys will include troubled times resulting in anxiety, mood disorders, grief, loss, parenting difficulties, relationship issues, addictions and other challenges along the way. But most will also include exciting and positive times such as graduations, college, marriage, career advancements, births, relocations, new homes, new friends, and many more. Although positive, adjustment to these experiences may also result in a need for support during the transition.
As a Social Worker, my approach will focus on the whole individual to identify other factors contributing to the current problem. This will include past and current relationships, health issues, work, living and social environments.
My goal is to help clients find hope, joy and peace. They will achieve this by learning to view problems differently and using healthy coping skills to make changes and adjust to a new normal.
I know what it’s like to feel trapped by emotional pain. After losing my mom in 2005 I embarked on a journey through grief that made me the person I am today. The grief will stay with me forever, but I now have life lessons that I’ve learned because of it. I am here to help you. It’s often hard to admit that you are struggling and even harder to ask for help. You will never “get over” the person you lost, but you will find a way to work through the pain and eventually it will fade and become more manageable. I’m living proof of that.
I’ve been a licensed mental health counselor for more than 15 years, and I’ve spent my career helping my clients work through grief, cope with postpartum depression and anxiety, and find coping skills that work to decrease stress and anxiety. You don’t have to feel this way anymore. I can help when you feel like you are drowning in pain, and together we will navigate the journey to happiness.
I look forward to helping you heal!
I’m great at listening and providing space for whatever a person needs to bring to session. My passion is in trauma work and I have spent my 11 years in the field with a focus on trauma-informed care. I have worked with people of all ages and genders and particularly enjoy helping clients build self-esteem, find new ways to think about issues, and build healthy boundaries in their relationships.
Are you struggling with a major transition? Life can certainly throw us some curve balls. Although you may feel overwhelmed or discouraged, things can get better. I specialize in helping people deal with big events like grief, illness, caring for a loved one, and divorce. These changes might contribute to anxiety, self-doubt, or depression. These challenging times can be exhausting, and it’s key to take care of yourself. With the right help, you can heal and even thrive. More and more people are understanding that mental health support isn’t a luxury, but a necessity that we all deserve.
I keep up with the most effective therapies so that I can provide you with the best care possible. I also recognize that your situation is unique, and you have your own struggles and strengths. We will tailor your care to where you’re at, and what you need at this time.
I am dedicated to supporting you however I can, through evidence-based therapy, education, and resources. I offer flexible appointments online, through a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform. If you’re ready for the next step, let's schedule an initial consultation. I look forward to seeing how I can help.
Hi, I’m Jaelah, and I work with individuals who are ready to embrace their journey toward growth and authenticity. I serve clients from diverse backgrounds—especially BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities—navigating life transitions, anxiety, or identity exploration. My approach is collaborative, empowering you with practical tools like CBT, mindfulness, and culturally sensitive care. The impact? Together, we’ll build your self-awareness, resilience, and clarity—so you can confidently live a life aligned with your values and purpose.
Hi, I am so glad you have decided to take a step in healing from your past.
I specialize in working with people who grew up in families where there was some type of instability or turmoil. This could have been from addiction, mental health, abuse, neglect, anger, poverty, foster care placement, religious trauma or anything that caused some form of trauma. Oftentimes times those who grew up in this type of situation feel responsible for it or that somehow they should have fixed it.
One of my favorite life mantras is a quote by Eleanor Roosevelt: "No one can make you feel inferior without your consent". Thus, I enjoy helping others embrace their power. One of the most impactful ways to do that is a change in thought process. It has such a significant influence on the way we react and the type of emotions we feel.
At times, facing life's challenges can be difficult. Fortunately, you do not have to do it alone. I'll walk on the journey with you, offering a safe environment we co-create that encourages exploration and growth. If you'd like to know if I'd be a good fit on your personal journey, please feel invited to reach out!

Hi there! I'm Dorian.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Florida - a Jax native with a recent move south to the Space Coast. I received my Masters of Social Work from Florida State University in 2014 focusing on clinical social work.
I approach therapy with flexibility and adaptability, focusing on what will best align with you, the client. But, of note, I do so very casually, honestly, conversationally, and course, hilariously (the latter, though subjective, has been confirmed. By me.) . Opening yourself up to therapy can be intimidating! A bit scary! But there's no requirement stating you must dread it.
Through my views on mental health, self help, and all kinds of therapy - combined with, well, my personality - it seems that I've become adept at a sort of "stealth therapy." Admittedly self-defined, I'd best explain this by saying that sessions are conversational, instead of a "traditional" therapist-role to client-role back and forth.
Just kidding. But, I approach therapy in a way I . I don't speak in riddles, and I won't pretend that I know you better than you know you. I listen, I hear your words -- your input has value and I will never dismiss you or your concerns.
