With both a Master’s and a Doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy from Nova Southeastern University, I bring a blend of professional expertise and heartfelt understanding to every session.
As a mother of two, I deeply understand the joys and challenges that come with pregnancy, postpartum adjustment, and navigating life transitions. I specialize in maternal mental health, including prenatal and postpartum support, grief from miscarriage, and helping women explore meaningful life decisions around parenthood and identity. Over the years, I’ve helped women as young as 18 recognize their inner strengths, gain clarity through change, and overcome stress, anxiety, or uncertainty. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed by motherhood, considering whether to have children, or simply navigating the complexities of modern life, I work collaboratively with you to uncover strategies that promote balance, confidence, and well-being.
My approach centers on understanding you — your story, your values, and your unique experiences — so we can tailor therapy to meet your needs. I’m here to support you, help you feel heard, and empower you to face life’s transitions with courage and confidence.
If you’re ready to begin, I invite you to schedule a therapy session so we can explore how working together may support your goals.

I’m a counselor who believes that healing begins with connection—with yourself, your pain, and the meaning you give to your life. My approach is rooted in existential therapy, which means I help people explore the deeper “why” behind their struggles, choices, and patterns. Together, we look at questions of purpose, freedom, and authenticity—not as abstract ideas, but as living experiences that shape how you relate to yourself and others.
At Rogue Counseling, I work with people who feel stuck between who they are and who they want to be. My style is direct but compassionate. I draw from philosophy, psychology, and the realities of being human in a messy, complex world. I believe humor, curiosity, and courage belong in the therapy room just as much as pain and vulnerability.
If you’re ready to explore your own story and live more freely within it, I’ll walk that path with you—one honest conversation at a

Welcome! My name is Alexis, and I have been in the behavioral health field for over 10 years. As a therapist, I believe in the power of optimism and the strength that comes from walking side by side with my clients on their journey of growth. My role is not to lead from ahead or push from behind, but to walk alongside you as you discover and embrace your best self. I focus on highlighting possibilities, strengths, and hope, even in challenging times.
I approach mental wellness as a spectrum of being that will regularly ebb and flow for all people. We all have "good" days and "not so good" days; we all need someone to talk to and to listen to us when days are harder, and we all need a compassionate voice to tell us that we can work through this. Menatl health work is manageable when it is education and information based, which helps us to make our problems seem more manageable. I like to help my clients feel comfortable about talking through their thoughts and obstacles, and finding real, simple solutions to problems. I have worked with people of all ages; my youngest client was 3 years old, and my oldest client was 84; I am proud to say that I can adjust to meet clients' needs. This is due to my ability to listen and to collaborate actively with clients to help them have a say in their care and healing.
I work with women who feel everything deeply—the overthinkers, the emotionally sensitive, and those carrying more than others realize. Many of my clients appear strong and capable on the outside while struggling internally with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, OCD, relationship challenges, or major life transitions. Using evidence-based therapy, I help clients better understand themselves, build practical coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change.
