When life feels heavy, it's easy to feel disconnected from yourself, your relationships, or the direction you want your life to take. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, trauma, family conflict, grief, or major life transitions—and unsure of how to move forward. As a Licensed Professional Counselor serving adolescents and adults in Florida and New Jersey, I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered. Together, we'll identify what's contributing to your struggles, build on your strengths, and develop practical tools that support healing, resilience, and meaningful change.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another, discuss what brought you to therapy, and begin building a foundation for meaningful work together. My goal is to create a welcoming environment where you feel comfortable being yourself and sharing openly. As we work together, you can expect compassion, collaboration, and practical support. My hope is that therapy helps you feel more confident, resilient, emotionally balanced, and connected to the life you want to create.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I believe therapy should feel collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to your unique needs. Together, we'll explore the thoughts, emotions, relationships, and life experiences that may be contributing to your current challenges while identifying strengths that support growth and healing. I draw from evidence-based approaches including CBT, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Motivational Interviewing, REBT, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, family conflict, grief, or life transitions, we'll focus on practical strategies that create lasting change.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Individual therapy is for anyone who is ready to invest in their personal growth and well-being. The ideal participant is someone who is willing to engage in the therapeutic process with curiosity, openness, and a desire to better understand themselves. They do not need to have everything figured out or know exactly where to begin—only a willingness to show up, be honest, and work collaboratively toward meaningful change. Whether navigating stress, anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, relationship challenges, or life transitions, individual therapy provides a safe, supportive, and confidential space to explore thoughts and emotions, build insight, and develop healthier coping strategies. Through a strong therapeutic relationship, participants are encouraged to identify personal strengths, overcome obstacles, and work toward goals that promote healing, resilience, and lasting emotional wellness. Growth happens one step at a time, and each session is an opportunity to move closer to the life they want to create.

My treatment methods

Reality Therapy

Reality therapy helps individuals focus on the present and the choices they can make to improve their lives. In treatment, as a Therapist, I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space to explore current challenges, identify personal goals, and examine whether current behaviors are helping or getting in the way. Together, they develop practical, realistic strategies that build on the individual's strengths, encourage personal responsibility, and support positive, lasting change—one step at a time.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In therapy, I teach how thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected. With the support, I help the patient identify unhelpful thinking patterns, challenge negative beliefs, and practice healthier ways of responding to life's challenges. As they develop new coping skills and perspectives, the patient become better equipped to manage stress, improve their mood, and make choices that support overall well-being.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

In therapy, I focus on the patient strengths, successes, and the solutions that can help them move forward. Instead of dwelling on problems, I work with my patient to identify what is already working in their life and build on those positive experiences. Together, we set realistic goals, recognize progress, and develop practical steps that help them create meaningful, lasting change.
