In your first session we will work on clients feeling safe and supported in addressing and identifying their goals in a caring and inclusive environment.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

As a young girl I’ve always had a dream to be able to help others. Growing up in a home that was open to always helping others I experienced first hand how important it is as a community to be there for each other.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) has been an integral part of my practice for many years, and I’ve found it to be an incredibly effective treatment method for a wide range of mental health concerns. CBT is a structured, goal-oriented therapy that focuses on identifying and challenging negative thought patterns and behaviors that contribute to distress. In my practice, I use CBT to help clients recognize the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we work to identify any cognitive distortions or irrational beliefs that may be affecting their mood or actions. Once we’ve pinpointed these patterns, I guide clients through the process of reframing or replacing those thoughts with more balanced and realistic perspectives. This shift in thinking often leads to more positive emotions and healthier behavior choices. CBT also emphasizes skill-building, where clients learn techniques such as mindfulness, relaxation exercises, and problem-solving strategies to manage their symptoms effectively. I integrate these tools to help clients cope with stress, anxiety, depression, or other issues. One of the key elements I appreciate about CBT is its practical nature. Clients often leave sessions with concrete tools they can apply immediately in their daily lives. This sense of empowerment is essential in helping clients make lasting changes and maintain progress. Overall, I’ve seen firsthand the significant impact that CBT can have on individuals struggling with various emotional challenges, and it remains a cornerstone of my therapeutic approach.
