Hi, I’m Tiffany Mack. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, but more importantly, I’m someone who’s here to walk alongside you through life’s ups and downs. I know how overwhelming it can feel when challenges pile up, and my goal is to create a space where you can breathe, feel supported, and know you’re not alone. I believe everyone has the ability to grow and heal, and therapy is about working together to discover the tools and strengths that are already within you.
In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know each other and establishing a strong foundation for our work together. I’ll ask questions to understand your current concerns, background, and what you hope to achieve through therapy. This session is also an opportunity for you to ask any questions about the process. My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you feel heard. We’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you and begin exploring your goals and how therapy can help you reach them.
My greatest strengths as a provider is being open minded without judgment, being an active listener, having a great sense of humor, and trust-building abilities.
My ideal clients are individuals, couples, and families who are motivated to make meaningful changes in their lives, even if they aren’t sure where to begin. I work best with clients who may be experiencing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, anger management, or relationship difficulties, and who are ready to explore new ways of coping and growing. I am especially passionate about working with people who value a supportive, nonjudgmental space to share their story and are open to learning tools that can help them navigate life with more balance and clarity. Whether you’re seeking to strengthen your relationships, manage overwhelming emotions, or find a greater sense of peace and purpose, I am here to walk alongside you on that journey. Together, we will build on your strengths, address challenges, and create realistic, empowering goals that support your healing and growth.
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to take a goal-oriented approach that helps clients address specific challenges. Together, we will work on identifying unhelpful thoughts, challenging them, and replacing them with healthier, more effective ways of thinking.
A person-centered approach is important to me as a provider, as I strive to listen with empathy and focus on what you feel matters most. My goal is to support and empower you to recognize your own strengths and create meaningful change.
In couples counseling, I draw from evidence-based approaches such as Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and the Gottman Method to help partners improve communication, rebuild trust, and strengthen their emotional connection. Sessions focus on identifying patterns of interaction, fostering empathy, and developing healthier ways of resolving conflict. My goal is to create a supportive space where both partners feel heard and understood, while working collaboratively toward a more fulfilling and resilient relationship.
I have extensive experience using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients increase psychological flexibility and live more meaningful lives. In my practice, I guide clients in identifying their core values and exploring how their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors may either support or get in the way of living in alignment with those values. I use ACT strategies such as mindfulness exercises, cognitive defusion techniques, and values-based goal setting to help clients accept difficult emotions without avoidance and take actionable steps toward the life they want. This approach allows clients to develop resilience, reduce internal struggle, and make intentional choices that enhance overall well-being.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) helps clients learn practical skills to manage overwhelming emotions, improve relationships, and cope with stress in healthier ways. In our work together, I use DBT strategies such as mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and effective communication techniques. These tools empower you to stay grounded, navigate challenges without feeling controlled by your emotions, and build a more balanced and fulfilling life.
