New to Grow
I utilize a key component of self-care and self-love to help clients develop a stronger, more confident self-image. Clients can expect to feel safe & heard, while gaining clarity with interactive homework assignments. I work with clients who may be struggling with depression, anxiety, or trauma related to relationships or life issues. Most of my clients see a gradual decrease of symptoms within the first month and sustained improvement thereafter.
Our first session is to establish your therapeutic focus and begin building rapport. During our initial sessions, we will discuss the issues at hand and collaborate to create a plan for addressing them in a way that helps you get your life back.
• Specializes in the areas of Anxiety; Depression; Grief; Domestic Violence; Trauma-Informed Care. • Facilitates mental health workshops and seminars, in person and virtually. • Self-published and distributed over 800 copies of my book titled “30 Days of Hope, Change Your Energy Change Your Life”, which is a daily devotional dedicated to help individuals who seek self-encouragement.
My ideal counseling client is a high-functioning, emotionally exhausted person who looks “successful” on the outside but feels disconnected, overwhelmed, or stuck on the inside. They may have difficulty setting boundaries and unresolved trauma or abandonment wounds. They are deeply motivated for change, spiritually open, and ready to stop surviving and start healing. They are ready to do the work that includes self-reflection and involves accountability.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in my practice. In your first session, we'll explore what brought you to therapy and then decide the most appropriate ways to help you make progress. During treatment, I will help you gain clarity and emotional strength, learn how to set boundaries, and begin to live your authentic self.
