New to Grow
Welcome. I'm a licensed therapist who believes that healing begins with feeling truly seen and accepted. For more than 20 years, I've had the privilege of walking alongside people through grief, trauma, anxiety, life transitions, and profound loss. As a Certified Thanatologist (Retired) with specialized experience in grief and end-of-life care, I offer a gentle, compassionate space where you don't have to carry life's hardest moments alone. Together, we'll move at your pace, drawing from evidence-based therapy, mindfulness, somatic practices, and your own inner strengths to help you find hope, healing, and renewed purpose.
Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and my goal is to help you feel comfortable, heard, and supported from the moment we meet. During our first session, we'll talk about what brought you to therapy, what you're hoping to gain, and any questions or concerns you may have. You can share at your own pace—there is no pressure to tell your entire story right away. Together, we'll explore your strengths, identify your goals, and begin creating a personalized plan for your healing. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and trauma-informed, with a focus on helping you feel safe, understood, and empowered. I hope you leave our first session feeling heard, hopeful, and confident that you don't have to navigate life's challenges alone.
I bring a calm, compassionate presence where clients feel genuinely seen, heard, and accepted. My approach blends evidence-based therapy with mindfulness, somatic practices, expressive arts, and practical coping skills, always tailored to each person's unique needs. With extensive experience supporting individuals through grief, trauma, anxiety, life transitions, and loss, I help clients make sense of difficult experiences while discovering resilience and hope. My goal is not simply to reduce symptoms, but to help people reconnect with themselves, build meaningful lives, and move forward with greater confidence and purpose.
I am best positioned to support adults navigating grief, trauma, anxiety, life transitions, and the emotional challenges that come with change and loss. Whether you're grieving the death of a loved one, facing a major life transition, healing from trauma, or simply feeling overwhelmed, I provide a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where you can slow down, process your experiences, and reconnect with yourself. Together, we'll build resilience, develop meaningful coping strategies, and help you move toward a life that feels more grounded, purposeful, and hopeful.

I identify as
Grief Therapy
Within grief therapy I strive to provide a safe, compassionate space where clients can process loss at their own pace. Together, we explore the emotional, physical, and relational impacts of grief while honoring each person's unique experience. My approach integrates evidence-based practices, mindfulness, somatic awareness, and meaning-making to help clients develop healthy coping skills, adjust to life after loss, and continue their connection with what matters most. Grief is not something to "get over," but something we learn to carry with greater resilience and self-compassion.
