Are you struggling to find a sense of purpose in your life? Unsure of whether you are headed in a direction that will leave you feeling satisfied and fulfilled? Do you wonder if life should feel somehow better? Happier? Now more than ever, people are feeling anxious and overwhelmed due to challenges that prior generations did not face. We’re expected to manage our relationships and careers flawlessly in a world that is rapidly changing without anyone who quite understands how to guide us. If you can relate - you’re in the right place. When you begin therapy with me, you’ll feel like you’re talking to a close friend with a wealth of clinical knowledge. Open, friendly, warm, caring - these are just a few of the ways my friends, family members, and clients describe my personality. In sessions with me, you’ll feel free of judgment as we discuss some of the struggles that brought you here. Most importantly, I’ll help you understand some of your own tendencies so that we can identify thought patterns and behaviors that you’d like to change. During this process, you'll feel encouraged and supported, and will feel motivated in new ways.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, you will feel like you're talking to a close friend with a wealth of clinical knowledge. My personality is easy-going, friendly, and supportive and I pride myself on making therapy a comfortable process for people (we should all have a place where we can meet each week to work on ourself!). During our first session, we'll get to know each other on a general level, talk about some of the issues you're dealing with that are leading you to seek therapy, and create a plan of action to help you reach your goals!

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My speciality in the field is building rapport with clients! I am very easy-going, personable, and make clients feel comfortable in a session. This allows clients to discuss uncomfortable thoughts and feelings that are difficult to share. By building a strong therapeutic relationship, clients are able to truly discover, understand, and discuss the roots of the mental health issues they are dealing with.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I love working with individuals at transitional points in their life. Whether you are a young professional in the first few years of your career, an individual struggling in relationships, or someone looking for balance in life - I'm here to help. No matter the difficulties and change you are experiences, I look forward to being your support and guide through these difficult times.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

The way we think directly impacts the way we feel and the way we behave. In treatment together, we'll work towards understanding your thinking patterns, identifying where they may be problematic, and working towards instilling healthier thinking.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

In therapy together, we will get to know each other well. Using my knowledge of you and your background, we will design treatment interventions catered to you and utilize your personal motivating factors to elicit change.
