I am a Florida DCF Approved Provider (Florida Family Court requires divorcing/separating couples with minor children to complete a DCF approved parenting class before finalizing their divorce). At Family Solutions Counseling, my practice is faith-based. My faith and life experiences are why I chose to become a Counselor. I also approach client concerns from a Solution-focused perspective. We all possess strengths and resources that can be used to attain personal growth and overcome life's challenges. Each person is doing the best they can considering the context they live in and the relationships that exist in their lives. My job is not to judge but to build a level of trust, provide support, encourage the client to feel safe in expressing symptoms, and help find solutions.
