Hello! My name is Jeremy Brown! Has it been difficult and tough sometimes to talk to others like family and friends? Do you feel like people around you are not listening or hearing you when you speak? Do you struggle with self-compassion and self-gratitude? Have you always turned to other means to cope when stressed such as alcohol or other substances? I help individuals who are struggling with all the above and work side by side with you to formulate a healthier way to communicate and get to the root of your problems. I do so through the use of cognitive behavioral therapy which aims at changing the way we think and view various situations as well as solution focused therapy and strengths based techniques to show you that your are capable and strong to overcome. If you also struggle with substance abuse, I have 3 years of experience helping individuals suffering with alcohol, cannabis and stimulant use disorder find healthier ways to cope with issues than with the use of substances. I want to applaud you for taking the first step in your recovery and healing, this can all feel scary at first but you are on your way to healthier version of yourself! In our upcoming sessions together, I will meet you with compassion and empathy and take a collaborative approach to help you overcome any obstacle in your way. I look forward to working with you! I am a License Mental Health Counselor in New York and Florida that works with marital counseling clients and those experiencing relationship issues and who are struggling with their sense of self confidence. My ideal client is someone who is committed to the process of self-introspection and wants to be held accountable to reach their goals. I specialize in counseling women and men on self-esteem, worth & actualization. I also support clients affected by bullying, narcissistic abuse as well as those dealing with complicated grief. As your therapist, I will assist you in discovering or uncovering yourself. This might mean realizing some difficult truths about your personality and behavior patterns, tapping into your strengths, and identifying what coping skills work for you. Or, it might mean working through emotional pain, trauma, or barriers that prevent you from being your best self. In my years of experience, I have found that once a person’s authentic identity has been discovered through therapy, clients can accept who they are, confidently speak up for themselves and understand themselves with greater perspective. Usually this leads to healthier relationship choices and dynamics. I will help you to learn more about yourself and make realistic changes.

Trained as a psychologist (Ph.D. from Cornell University). Some 20 years later I earned a second graduate degree in Marriage & Family Therapy. I am a fully licensed therapist in the State of Florida. I have taught psychology at Princeton, Tulane, Cornell, and Harvard Medical School. We will spend most of our time creating solutions, instead of analyzing problems. So often, therapy gets bogged down in the endless exploration of problems. Problems are the results of behaviors that didn't work for you in the past. Solutions flow from changes that will work for you starting right now. Solutions make your life better. They bring joy and peace to your life.

Licensed Psychotherapist | Culturally Sensitive | Trauma-Informed Welcome, I’m Nubia. Healing doesn’t happen overnight — but with the right support, it absolutely happens. Whether you're working through trauma, betrayal, anxiety, divorce, or simply feeling emotionally stuck, I’m here to help you move forward with clarity, strength, and care. I work with adults navigating life transitions, stress, or emotional wounds that have been hard to process alone. Many of my clients come to me feeling overwhelmed, burnt out, or unsure of how to break free from patterns that no longer serve them. Together, we explore the deeper “why” behind those patterns — and create space for healing, resilience, and growth. My approach is grounded in evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). These methods help us understand how your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected — and how to gently shift the beliefs that keep you feeling stuck. But beyond technique, I lead with authenticity, compassion, and cultural awareness. In our sessions, you’ll find a space that feels safe, honest, and judgment-free. Whether this is your first time in therapy or you’re returning to it, you are welcome exactly as you are. Clients often tell me they feel more centered, more empowered, and more hopeful after working together. I offer flexible scheduling, including evenings and virtual sessions, because healing should fit into real life. If you’re ready to begin your journey — whether you’re clear on your goals or still figuring them out — I’d be honored to support you. Let’s take the first step, together. Warmly, Nubia Anacius , MS,NBCC,LPC Licensed Psychotherapist

Hello, I’m Dennis Alvarez, PsyD. I believe counseling should both encourage and thoughtfully challenge individuals to move toward their fullest potential by addressing the mental, emotional, and spiritual dimensions of their lives. I hold a Doctorate in Psychology and a post-graduate diploma in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and I am a licensed psychotherapist with experience across hospital, treatment, and private-practice settings. Throughout my career, I have provided individual and group therapy as well as comprehensive psychological assessments to adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relational distress, substance-use concerns, and life-transition stressors. My clinical background includes work in hospitals, substance-use treatment programs, and outpatient private practice, where I integrate evidence-based approaches within a holistic, person-centered framework. I am also the author of When Heaven Was Silent: Integrating Psychology and Theology in the Garden of Gethsemane, which explores the experience of mental suffering through both clinical and historical perspectives. My doctoral dissertation focused on trauma and psychological adaptation, further shaping my approach to helping individuals understand their internal patterns, build resilience, and restore a sense of meaning and purpose. In my work with clients, I emphasize helping people understand how and why certain thoughts, emotions, and behavioral patterns develop, particularly in the context of anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance-use histories. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental therapeutic environment while also encouraging insight, personal responsibility, and growth. My goal is to help you move toward a more grounded, authentic, and meaningful life.

Finding the right therapist can be the first step toward meaningful change. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Florida and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in South Carolina specializing in trauma, complex trauma, anxiety, depression, shame, and relationship challenges with adults. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a specialized focus on addiction and the recovery process, including a strong understanding of the 12-step model. I also work extensively with mood disorders and personality disorders, with a particular clinical interest in borderline personality disorder (BPD). I am a proud graduate of Florida Atlantic University, where I earned both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work. I bring significant experience supporting individuals navigating substance use disorders and complex mental health challenges, especially those impacted by emotional dysregulation, unstable relationships, identity concerns, and trauma-related patterns. My goal is to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those I serve by fostering education, self-awareness, and a deeper understanding of emotional and behavioral health. I believe that healing begins with insight — and that every person has the capacity to grow, transform, and create lasting change.

Starting therapy is a powerful and courageous step toward change, and I’m honored to walk alongside you on this journey. My approach to therapy is rooted in the belief that every person holds the capacity for deep transformation. Whether you’re facing specific challenges or navigating the complexities of your identity, relationships, or past experiences, therapy can be a space of discovery, healing, and growth. I offer an empowering and collaborative therapeutic relationship where your voice, values, and lived experiences are honored. In our work together, you are not seen as a problem to be fixed, but as a whole and capable person—deserving of care, clarity, and connection. My practice is affirming of all identities, and I am committed to providing a liberating space where you can explore who you are without judgment. I have over 20 years of clinical experience and training working with individuals from diverse backgrounds struggling with identity development, relational problems, trauma, family of origin issues, racial trauma, bereavement issues, self-esteem, depression, anxiety and stress management.

Hi there! I'm Anne! Whether you're healing from narcissistic abuse, mending a broken heart, battling burnout, or wrestling with anxiety and depression, I want you to know one thing: you're not alone on this journey. My practice is a safe haven for those who've weathered these storms. I've dedicated my career to creating a warm, judgment-free space where your story matters and your feelings are valid. I don't believe in one-size-fits-all therapy. Instead, we'll work together to find an approach that resonates so that you feel heard and understood. We'll unpack the heavy emotions, develop coping strategies that actually work for you. 📍𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝗺𝗲 𝗮𝘁 𝟮𝟰𝟬-𝟲𝟯𝟬-𝟮𝟭𝟬𝟰 𝗶𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝐝𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝘀𝗲𝗲 𝗮𝗻 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂. Sometimes life blows up in a way you never saw coming. A relationship ends. Someone lies to you. Trust gets shattered. You lose someone you love. Anxiety starts taking over your brain. Or you wake up one day and realize the life you thought you were building is not the life you actually have. A lot of the people I work with are functioning just fine on the outside while internally thinking, What the hell just happened to my life? They're replaying conversations, second-guessing themselves, trying to make sense of someone else's behavior, wondering whether they missed something, and feeling completely exhausted by their own thoughts. You don't need to show up with a diagnosis or a beautifully organized explanation of what's wrong. You can bring the messy version. I'm not a therapist who is going to sit silently for 50 minutes, nod occasionally, and then ask how that made you feel. I am engaged. I ask questions. I notice patterns. I will tell you what I'm seeing. I will validate what deserves validation, and I will also challenge you when I think you are getting stuck, avoiding something important, or being much harder on yourself than the situation actually calls for. There is room here for grief, anger, confusion, ugly truths, dark humor, bad decisions, overthinking, faith, and the occasional sentence that starts with, "I know this sounds crazy, but..." I work especially well with adults dealing with anxiety, grief, heartbreak, betrayal, complicated relationships, and major life changes. What happened matters. But I do not want the worst thing that happened to you to become the organizing principle for the rest of your life.
