I work with individuals navigating a wide range of challenges, whether finding it hard to cope, or functioning on the outside while struggling internally. Hello! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Florida. I am originally from Philadelphia , PA, so I have come to enjoy Florida’s climate. I came to Florida via the military. I am retired military and after serving for twenty-four years, I felt compelled to redirect my life toward caring for others in a more personal and meaningful way. I decided that clinical therapy would best tie into my natural and learned abilities as well as my desire to help people. I earned my Master of Social Work from the University Of Southern California with a primary focus in Children, Youth, and Families. I chose this focus because I believe every aspect of the family is important from the individual to the couple and family with children, and in many cases, the extended family. I am EMDR trained. I am also certified to work with all anxiety disorders. I have extensive experience working with neurotypical and neurodivergent clients living with substance abuse, anxiety, depression, and trauma.

I received a Master's degree in family psychology, in 2010, from Hardin-Simmons University in Texas. I engage others by helping them feel comfortable while also being solution focused. My name is Miguel Lopez, a Hispanic male (He/Him/His) and U.S. Army combat veteran who brings a unique perspective to my work as a therapist. Fluent in Spanish and passionate about guiding people through life’s challenges, I hold a Master’s in Social Work from Walden University, a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice from Colorado Technical University, and an Associate’s in Criminal Justice from Pikes Peak State College. With over a decade of experience as a caseworker, substance abuse counselor, and therapist, I’ve had the privilege of working with diverse clients facing real-life struggles and in need of daily support. Life can be tough, and we all face difficult moments—whether it’s a breakup, divorce, grief, the loss of a loved one or pet, or even a job loss. In these times, having an unbiased person to offer support can make a world of difference. I see trauma as an unexpected part of life that is often hard to process, but with the right help, it can be managed and overcome healthily. I’ve personally experienced more than my share of trauma, grief, loss, sadness, depression, and substance use, and I sought help to work through them. My approach to therapy is centered on helping people in the best way possible, always with an open mind. I often use Maslow’s hierarchy of needs as a guide, because I believe mental health is hard to prioritize when physical needs aren’t met, or issues like homelessness or substance abuse are present. I enjoy working with clients from age 5 to older adults who face Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, PTSD, Mood Disorders, Personality Disorders, and other mental health or substance use challenges. It’s easy to fight battles alone and suffer in silence, but you don’t have to anymore—together, we can work toward healing and a better future.

Licensed Psychotherapist | Culturally Sensitive | Trauma-Informed Welcome, I’m Nubia. Healing doesn’t happen overnight — but with the right support, it absolutely happens. Whether you're working through trauma, betrayal, anxiety, divorce, or simply feeling emotionally stuck, I’m here to help you move forward with clarity, strength, and care. I work with adults navigating life transitions, stress, or emotional wounds that have been hard to process alone. Many of my clients come to me feeling overwhelmed, burnt out, or unsure of how to break free from patterns that no longer serve them. Together, we explore the deeper “why” behind those patterns — and create space for healing, resilience, and growth. My approach is grounded in evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). These methods help us understand how your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected — and how to gently shift the beliefs that keep you feeling stuck. But beyond technique, I lead with authenticity, compassion, and cultural awareness. In our sessions, you’ll find a space that feels safe, honest, and judgment-free. Whether this is your first time in therapy or you’re returning to it, you are welcome exactly as you are. Clients often tell me they feel more centered, more empowered, and more hopeful after working together. I offer flexible scheduling, including evenings and virtual sessions, because healing should fit into real life. If you’re ready to begin your journey — whether you’re clear on your goals or still figuring them out — I’d be honored to support you. Let’s take the first step, together. Warmly, Nubia Anacius , MS,NBCC,LPC Licensed Psychotherapist

I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, offering both in-person and telehealth therapy. I work with adults who have been carrying a lot for a long time and are realizing it may finally be time to prioritize their own well-being. I specialize in working with trauma survivors, people experiencing depression and anxiety, and individuals in recovery from addiction. My clinical background includes working with survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use concerns, and people living with chronic mental illness. These experiences have shaped a grounded, trauma-informed approach that respects the complexity of what people have lived through and the ways they learned to survive it. Many of the people I work with feel overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, stuck in old patterns, or affected by experiences from the past that continue to show up in their relationships and daily lives. Some have spent years putting other people’s needs ahead of their own or simply doing what they needed to do to get through difficult circumstances. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and respectful of your pace. Therapy with me focuses on helping you find relief from emotional pain and anxiety while developing greater self-understanding and a sense of safety that allows deeper healing to occur. Together, we work toward a life that feels steadier, more meaningful, and more authentically your own.

I’m Jennifer Haynes, a Florida Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Qualified Supervisor, and Founder and Clinical Director of Fr33 Mind LLC. I specialize in trauma, anxiety, grief, emotional regulation, relationship concerns, life transitions, and helping clients understand patterns that may be keeping them stuck. My approach is integrative, trauma-informed, and increasingly focused on the connection between the mind and body. I believe therapy is not only about understanding what happened or identifying why we feel the way we do. Healing can also involve learning how stress and trauma show up in the body, strengthening emotional awareness, developing practical coping skills, building healthier relationships, and reclaiming a greater sense of choice and agency. My advanced credentials and training include CCTP, C-DBT, CAMS-II, CAGCS, Parent Training Specialist II, and additional education in neuropsychotherapy/neurotherapy, mental health and nutrition, and personality disorder treatment. I am also currently completing certification in Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY), anticipated in March 2027. Through Fr33 Mind, my work continues to expand beyond traditional talk therapy into intensives, groups, embodiment-focused healing, clinical supervision, and wellness experiences. Most importantly, I want therapy to feel like a place where you can be honest, feel understood, learn, challenge yourself, and gradually build a life that feels more aligned with who you are.

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of Florida since March 2007. I have over 20 years of experience providing psychotherapy and assessing adults, families and children in multiple settings. I consider myself skilled using a variety of clinical interventions (expressive arts with cognitive-behavioral, client-centered and trauma-informed approaches) in three languages: English, Spanish and French. I am a Colombian born immigrant who came to the US to further my education and practice as a psychotherapist. During my years of experience in psychotherapy I learned to incorporate the creative side of the human brain to facilitate expression and better flow the emotional communication. I have helped many people work through coping with life changes, stress, depression, anxiety, trauma and other multiple issues... I thrive in connecting with the person and developing trust, hope and faith in the therapeutic -and creative- process. My main focus is to provide a safe space for open conversations -via TeleHealth or in office- that allow the person to find their own path towards growing and healing. It takes courage to face our psychological challenges AND to take the first steps towards change, if you are ready to take that step I am here to support and empower you all the way! Einstein said, "Logic will take you from A to B. Imagination will take you everywhere"...

Hello, I’m Dennis Alvarez, PsyD. I believe counseling should both encourage and thoughtfully challenge individuals to move toward their fullest potential by addressing the mental, emotional, and spiritual dimensions of their lives. I hold a Doctorate in Psychology and a post-graduate diploma in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and I am a licensed psychotherapist with experience across hospital, treatment, and private-practice settings. Throughout my career, I have provided individual and group therapy as well as comprehensive psychological assessments to adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relational distress, substance-use concerns, and life-transition stressors. My clinical background includes work in hospitals, substance-use treatment programs, and outpatient private practice, where I integrate evidence-based approaches within a holistic, person-centered framework. I am also the author of When Heaven Was Silent: Integrating Psychology and Theology in the Garden of Gethsemane, which explores the experience of mental suffering through both clinical and historical perspectives. My doctoral dissertation focused on trauma and psychological adaptation, further shaping my approach to helping individuals understand their internal patterns, build resilience, and restore a sense of meaning and purpose. In my work with clients, I emphasize helping people understand how and why certain thoughts, emotions, and behavioral patterns develop, particularly in the context of anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance-use histories. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental therapeutic environment while also encouraging insight, personal responsibility, and growth. My goal is to help you move toward a more grounded, authentic, and meaningful life.

My name is JoAnn. Reach out to me when you are feeling anxiety or depression in dealing with life’s problems. I believe asking for help is a sign of strength and that sometimes people just need a boost to get them through a difficult time. I don’t believe in staying in counseling for years but coming back as needed instead. I’ve helped countless people to manage their anxiety and overcome depression without medication and able to work with individuals, couples, and children.

Hi there! Welcome to my practice. What would your life look like if anxiety, stress, or self-doubt no longer held you back? Do you find yourself overthinking, worrying about everything, or feeling emotionally drained? Life can feel challenging at times, and therapy can be a meaningful place to begin navigating those challenges with support. You deserve a space where you feel heard, understood, and supported. You don't have to have everything figured out to deserve support, and you don't have to face life's challenges alone. If you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply ready for a change, therapy can be a place where you can finally focus on you. I believe healing and growth happen one step at a time. Together, we can work toward celebrating the small wins, because those moments often lead to the biggest growth. I support individuals experiencing concerns related to anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, stress, and personal growth. I bring a compassionate and culturally informed approach to therapy and welcome individuals from diverse backgrounds and life experiences. My goal is to create a safe, affirming, and collaborative space where you feel respected, understood, and empowered to work toward your personal goals. Together, we can explore the challenges you're facing, develop healthy coping strategies, and work toward meaningful and lasting change. I look forward to meeting you and navigating life's challenges together, one step at a time.
