I am so happy you are here! I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in FL. I specialize working with teens and adults navigating trauma, self-esteem, life transitions, and/or relationship/friendship/family challenges. I also have specialized experience working with individuals who have lost loved ones to suicide. My approach focuses on creating a safe, supportive space where clients can build trust, explore their experiences, and develop coping strategies to foster healing and resilience. I will help guide and support you through healing from the past, finding the balance you deserve, and becoming the best version of yourself.
This first session is an opportunity for us to build rapport, discuss what brings you to therapy, and create a plan tailored to your needs. My goal is to make the process as comfortable and stress-free as possible, so you feel supported every step of the way.
With many years of experience in the mental health field, I provide a supportive and effective space for clients to navigate life’s challenges. With specialized training in trauma, I offer the tools and resources needed for meaningful growth, ensuring each client receives the highest quality care tailored to their unique needs.
I am passionate about working with teens and adults who may be navigating life’s ups and downs, feeling stuck in patterns of self-doubt, unable to process past trauma or struggling with self-esteem, relationships, or major life transitions. My clients typically are seeking a safe, supportive space to process emotions, work towards becoming a more confident and authentic version of themselves, and heal from any past trauma or toxic relationships. My clients enjoy having a therapist who truly gets them, can meet them where they are at, and bring warmth, humor, and real talk into the room.
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients recognize and reframe unhelpful thought patterns, leading to healthier emotions and behaviors. Through mindfulness, thought restructuring, and practical coping strategies, I empower clients to manage stress, anxiety, and self-doubt in a way that feels realistic and effective.
I use Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to help clients process and heal from past experiences in a safe and supportive space. By exploring thoughts, emotions, and beliefs tied to trauma, we work on reframing unhelpful patterns, building healthy coping skills, and restoring a sense of control. My approach is gentle and empowering, ensuring clients feel heard, validated, and supported throughout their healing journey.
I take an integrative approach to therapy, tailoring treatment to each client’s unique needs by blending techniques from various modalities, such as CBT, mindfulness, and person-centered therapy. This flexibility allows me to address the whole person—thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and relationships—while creating a personalized and supportive healing experience.
