My clients are people who want to move from feeling "stuck" to having a greater sense of purpose, empowerment and clarity. My approach to counseling uses a relational model that creates a safe environment where I encourage my clients to develop resiliency and self-empowerment. Life is very hard. My goal is to have each person leave a session feeling more capable to handle whatever life throws at them.
With a deep passion for breaking the stigma surrounding addiction and mental health, I have dedicated the last ten years to assisting individuals who grapple with the complex interplay of mental health issues and underlying substance abuse. I’ve witnessed how the societal stigma often conceals the very real barriers individuals face in their daily lives. My mission is to empower them with coping skills and strategies that allow them to embrace a life of recovery and resilience.
As a therapist, I focus on guiding patients towards building essential skills to overcome their challenges. I believe that mental health issues come in myriad forms, and it is our duty to provide support, unburdened by negative stereotypes and judgment. Together, let’s shatter the silence and create a path towards hope, recovery and well-being.
As a Therapist with over 25 years' experience, I work with children, adolescents, families, and individuals to strengthen relationships and overall functioning. My approach to counseling is the fundamental importance of emotional connections. We need to create and sustain healthy relationships with others that involved healthy boundaries and communication. Many things can disrupt our emotional connections with others and our goal together, is to repair and strengthen connections to promote healthy relationships.
My therapeutic modalities are eclectic given the particular situation. I am trained in Cognitive Behavior and Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Family Systems Therapy with a strength based, client centered approach. The warmth, attunement and understanding I have for my clients, helps me to create a connection of trust and respect within the therapeutic environment.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over a decade of experience across diverse settings, I am committed to meeting clients where they are, honoring their unique journeys - emotionally, mentally, and situationally. Rooted in empathy, collaboration, and respect my approach centers on recognizing and building upon each individual's inherent strengths, empowering them to create meaningful and lasting change in their lives.
Do you feel stuck, trapped, or like no matter how hard you try, you just can’t move forward? Do you find yourself constantly on edge, overthinking everything, avoiding things you want to do, or wondering why certain experiences still affect you today? Maybe you’ve spent years trying to hold everything together, push your emotions aside, and simply survive, but you’re ready for something to change.
I work with individuals just like you who are strong, caring, self-aware, and resilient, but exhausted from always having to hold it together. You may understand that your past has shaped you, yet still struggle to understand why you react the way you do, why you keep finding yourself in the same patterns, or why it’s so difficult to trust yourself and feel at peace. Together, we’ll explore what’s beneath the anxiety, depression, self-doubt, unresolved traumas and emotional overwhelm, helping you make sense of your experiences and develop ways to feel calmer, more grounded, and more in control of your life.
My approach is collaborative and personal, creating a space where you don’t have to figure everything out on your own. We’ll work together on setting boundaries without guilt, building self-trust and confidence, understanding your needs, and learning to make choices that reflect what you truly want rather than what fear tells you to do. Whether you’re struggling with your relationships, feeling disconnected from yourself, or trying to move forward from painful experiences, we’ll create a path that supports meaningful change at your own pace.
This goes beyond just “surviving” your emotions. It’s about feeling safe within yourself, reconnecting with who you are, and building a life where you no longer feel defined or held back by what you’ve been through. You deserve the opportunity to feel more like yourself again.

I work with clients experiencing a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, attachment related issues, and a wide variety of trauma related situations, particularly with military personnel and first responders. I also have extensive post graduate training in areas related to neuropsychology, adoption, custody, child abuse, and forensics. My counseling style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating anyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. I consider our therapeutic relationship as one as "an exchange of ideas". My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, solution focused, psychodynamic and developmental based counseling. I am well trained in other modalities as well.
I understand that it takes courage to seek help, and it's not easy to face fear. I do not believe that "you are your diagnosis". Rather, I will view you "as a a unique individual facing some challenges". My background and training is unique, and I think you will find that I see things very differently than most clinicians.

I have been working in private practice for the past six years, specializing in therapy with adults and couples. I value building meaningful connections with my clients and understanding their unique life experiences. Together, we work to heal areas of pain, strengthen what is already working well, and create lasting, meaningful change. My goal is to help clients let go of thoughts and patterns that no longer serve them while cultivating a life that feels more fulfilling and aligned with who they want to be.
Our current political and economic climates give many causes for concern. It can affect daily life, such as work, home, school, and social circles, essentially taking the fun out of what was once pleasurable. The same things that DO seem to help can eventually cause more pain. Who can you talk to when no one is listening? It would be helpful to have someone to talk to who can be objective, non-judgmental, and open-minded...but who could that be? Hello, I'm Montavious. What sets me apart is an ear for listening, a guiding approach, and an interest in helping you to overcome these obstacles. Join me by scheduling an appointment for a fitting. No one cares what you know unless they KNOW that you care! Contact me now to find out how!
I work with women navigating life transitions, particularly those that bring changes in relationships, family roles, and their sense of identity. These experiences can bring anxiety, emotional overwhelm, and the effects of trauma into focus, and can influence how thoughts, emotions, and the body interact.
My 25 years as a yoga teacher and yoga therapist have shaped how I approach counseling, particularly my understanding of the connection between emotional and physical experiences. I incorporate mindfulness and somatic approaches to help clients recognize how stress, emotions, and past experiences influence not only their thoughts, but also how they feel and respond physically.
Understanding our patterns is important, but learning to respond differently is where meaningful change begins.
I am a licensed mental health counselor who seeks to help clients gain insight into their mental health and/or substance abuse issues. Part of my focus is on empowering clients through self-awareness and self-compassion. I understand the power of dynamics and also work with couples and families to find cohesion. Faith-based counseling is available as well.

Hi! My name is Shalom Adler ,and I am excited to have an opportunity to help you. We all want to live a meaningful and stress-free life, and while I cannot guarantee that you will not experience stress (we all do), I can help you navigate and cope with all that life throws at you. As the great psychiatrist Viktor Frankl says, “There is nothing in the world … that would so effectively help one to survive even the worst conditions as the knowledge that there is a meaning in one's life.”
I have over thirty years of experience in helping, guiding and counseling individuals, couples and families. I treat everyone the way I would like to be treated, with respect, compassion, dignity and empathy. I have faced my own mental health challenges over the years, and this gives me a unique perspective that will help me help you. I will not attempt to model you in my image, but I will work as hard as I can to help you reach your fullest potential and overcome your own challenges. I will meet you where you are and evaluate your strengths and needs. We will work collaboratively to achieve your goals and aspirations.
I have several years of experience treating individuals, families, and adolescents using a holistic, empathic, and trauma-informed approach. Watching friends and family struggle with mental health and substance abuse issues fueled my passion for helping those who struggle with these difficulties from a place of understanding, patience, and empathy. I received a BA in psychology first, which led to obtaining a substance abuse certificate. I gained experience working with families and individuals and, after some time, I was ready to further my education and obtained a Master of Social Work. This helped me expand my clinical skills and learn more targeted therapy modalities, such as cognitive behavioral therapy, DBT, psychoanalytical care, and art therapy. I found these approaches are a great synthesis of neuroscience, trauma, and creativity.
I am a dedicated mental health therapist with a passion for helping individuals navigate life’s challenges and heal from past experiences. I primarily serve adults and young adults dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, codependency, and relationship issues. Many of my clients are working through complex emotional patterns, past trauma, or navigating transitions in their personal or professional lives.
My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and goal-oriented. I utilize evidence-based modalities such as CBT, EMDR, and mindfulness to support clients in gaining insight, building coping skills, and creating meaningful change. The impact of this work can be transformative—clients often develop stronger self-awareness, improved emotional regulation, healthier relationships, and a renewed sense of empowerment in their lives.

I have enormous compassion for people going through life's challenges and transitions and I feel privileged to work with those who are seeking support. I have experience working with adults, couples, and adolescents with problems including depression, anxiety, mood disorders, addiction, drug abuse, trauma, intimacy issues, LGBTQ-related issues, behavioral issues, post-traumatic stress disorder and couples therapy including sexual issues. I am a Board-Certified Mental Health Counselor, Sex Therapist and Addictions Counselor.
I love what I do and feel privileged to assist my clients in creating their emotional well-being. My goal is to help you achieve self-actualization and support. I believe therapy is an investment one makes in themselves. I offer individual therapy to people of all ages with a wide range of emotional, behavioral and relationship issues. Life is tough, and everyone needs support. We work together on the skills to support your emotional well-being.
Using a collaborative approach, I help my clients address and acknowledge negative patterns, engage in better decision-making, build stronger relationships, and create attainable goals. I utilize both cognitive behavioral and solution-focused theories to help articulate concerns and goals and work towards them healthily and positively. If you find yourself overwhelmed, stressed or stuck in a negative rut and want a more productive life, schedule an appointment. I get results where others fail!

I'm Paige Whitten, a Licensed Professional Counselor. Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of working in community mental health, completing assessments and evaluations, providing support in school settings, inpatient settings, and now working in private practice. This varied experience has given me a well-rounded perspective on mental health and a deep appreciation for meeting people where they are, whether that's navigating diagnoses, supporting young people through developmental challenges, or helping adults create meaningful change in their lives.

Hi, I'm Nicole Bakewell, MS, LMHC, NCC, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida. I believe everyone deserves a safe, compassionate space where they can feel genuinely seen, heard, understood, and accepted without judgment.
My approach to therapy is warm, authentic, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that meaningful healing begins with connection. I strive to create an environment where you can show up exactly as you are, without feeling pressured to have everything figured out. I work with individuals, couples, and families navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, attachment wounds, infidelity, grief, life transitions, and challenges with self-worth. I am especially passionate about helping clients understand how past experiences influence their present emotions, behaviors, and relationships.

I believe in meaningful conversations, thoughtful questions, practical tools, and helping you connect the dots between where you've been and where you want to go.
I recognize that reaching out for support can feel vulnerable, especially when you've spent so much time being strong for everyone else. My goal is to help you feel comfortable enough to explore the difficult things while also recognizing your resilience, strengths, and capacity for growth.
Whether you're working through painful experiences, rebuilding trust, strengthening relationships, or simply trying to feel more like yourself again, I would be honored to walk alongside you.
You don't have to navigate life's challenges alone, and you don't have to have all the answers before beginning. Sometimes, the most meaningful changes begin with simply feeling understood.

About Me
Welcome—I’m Emmanuel Nzuzu.
If you’re here, something within you knows that the way things are… is not the way they’re meant to be.
You may be carrying more than you let on—On the outside, you may still be functioning. But internally, it feels different.
And at some point, you begin to recognize: You cannot keep living this way.
In our work together, you are faced with a powerful choice:
You can continue to think about your life as it is… or begin to see it as it should be.
You can stay anchored in your current reality… or start creating a new one.
You can focus on how heavy things feel… or on how different they could become.
You can keep revisiting the problem… or begin building the solution.
My role is to guide you through that shift—with clarity, structure, certainty, and intention.
I provide a private, grounded space where you can safely confront what you’ve been carrying—without judgment, and without losing yourself in it. Whether it’s alcohol, drugs, emotional overwhelm, or internal conflict, we work to help you regain control by taking your power back from the patterns that have been quietly running your life.
Together, we move beyond survival.
You will learn to steady your mind, regulate your emotions, and become guided by a clear vision of your future and not memories of the past.
This is not about managing symptoms. It is about reclaiming your clarity, your strength, and your direction—and building a life that reflects who you truly are.
If you’re ready to stop living in what is… and begin creating what should be, I’m here.
Hi, I’m Joe. I’ve worked in the mental health field for 27 years across substance use treatment, outpatient care, and hospital settings. I’ve supported individuals and families through crisis, transition, and long-term growth.
I work well with young adults, adults, and families who are navigating stress, trauma, anxiety, depression, substance use, or major life changes. I also have extensive experience working with men who may struggle to express emotions directly and instead feel stuck in withdrawal, irritability, or self-doubt.
As a veteran, I understand the mindset and pressures that can come with military life. Across all of my work, I aim to provide a grounded, steady presence where honesty, insight, and meaningful change can take place.
Do you feel like you are being held back because of a depressed mood, anxious feelings, or past trauma? Are you uncomfortable with being vulnerable, and trusting others? Are you struggling with shame or guilt? Imagine having meaningful relationships, feeling confident, and having more control over your life. What would that look like? If this interests, you then feel free to schedule an intake or a consultation. I am glad you found my page and would love to connect with you. I am not here to judge you! My job is to create a safe, non-judgmental space to guide and support you as you work on creating the path you want to take.

Whether this is your first time exploring the options for therapy or you are seeking to return to the "therapy couch" to work on something different, know I'm proud of you for taking that step!
I recognize that therapy can be a struggle all within itself due to our beliefs, preconceived notions, and busy daily lives. My goal is to meet you where you are and walk beside you with compassion and empathy to achieve your goals.
As a therapist, I have worked in a range of areas, including outpatient substance abuse treatment, with individuals involved in intimate partner violence (survivors and perpetrators), in addition to education-based interventions for anger management & substance use.
Additionally if you decide you would like to meet with me, feel free to reach out if a time slot you would need is not available. I am more than willing to accommodate with advance notice for specific days/times you may need.
