Hi! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Master's Certified Addictions Professional based in Florida. I received my Masters from Florida State University practicing in substance use/misuse and addiction for over 10 years. I help young adults and adults struggling with overcoming the use of alcohol and substances. I have worked in several specialties including community, psychiatric inpatient and outpatient, and court/probation. To be heard, understood, and appreciated is the greatest gift!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Working with me, you can expect to be in the driver's seat and be provided with the support necessary to identify, prioritize, and resolve concerns. The ultimate goal is to experience a better work, home, and family life without the use of alcohol or substances as a coping method. Mostly, you can expect to be guided through the process of recovery.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My greatest strength is a multi-faceted, strengths-based, versatile treatment approach, that focuses on individual and cultural needs. In addition, together, we examine the triggering messages that negatively affect self-awareness and positive self-identification. For youths, I use the strength of gaming and education to highlight the importance of purpose and self-determination while learning how their world is experienced.
