For the past 13 years, Jillian Sarandrea, has held an LMHC in both NY and FL. Ms. Sarandrea's educational background includes a B.S. in Psychology, M.A. in Mental Health Counseling, and she is current PhD candidate in Psychology with a focus on trauma. Ms. Sarandrea is a professional member of the American Psychological Association and a certified member of the National Board of Mental Health Counselors. She continues to educate herself by attending national and local conferences, and keeping up with current therapy research. I have been a Clinical Social Worker since 2017 initially working at an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) at a psychiatric hospital in Boston, and now in my own private practice. Prior to this, I have spent most of my professional life working in higher education as an administrator and educator for over 20 years. My clinical focus has been working with late adolescents, young adults, and adults with anxiety, depression, substance use, and other mental health concerns.
