New to Grow
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and I have experience working with diverse clientele from various backgrounds. I have 8 years of experience in the social work field and 3 years in clinical practice. My specialties are helping individuals with anxiety, depression, and trauma. Seeking therapy is not a sign of weakness, it is a strength, and it takes courage to ask for help.
In the first session, my goal to is to actively listen and understand your story. I create a welcoming and safe space to make you feel comfortable. Therapy brings you to a place of vulnerability and I am here to listen without judgement. We will work together to come up with treatment goals that are feasible and realistic for you.
My greatest strengths are focusing on healing for the client's soul, body, and spirit. A person's soul is made up of their mind, will, and emotions. If your soul is damaged, then your body will be impacted because everything is connected. Also, focusing on the spirit is vital in helping clients navigate their connection/relationship with God and Jesus. I believe in the practical and spiritual implications of treatment to help clients navigate the road to healing.
My ideal client is someone who is ready for therapy and willing to do the work. I provide therapy from a holistic and Christian perspective. I am here to listen, challenge, and support you through your therapeutic journey. Open, honest, and respectful communication is how I tailor each session. Once we decide to work together, it will be a collaborative effort to help you work through your process.
