Hi there, I'm Bridgett! I specialize in Women's mental health, ranging from 18 years old and on. Do you have feelings of hopelessness, sadness, anxiety, maybe you're unmotivated, or need assistance with identifying healthy coping skills? Is your goal to get that joy back in your life? Life isn't always beautiful and perfect, often times it's challenging, frustrating, and confusing. I help my clients acknowledge and experience those unwanted feelings. The idea is to experience them but not to live in them. Making a decision to seek therapy is a courageous one. It is a beautiful start to the healing process, and self-discovery. In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions
The treatment methods and tools I utilize
I work collaboratively with my client, providing a safe, non-judgmental space to work through difficult seasons and situations. I firmly believe that my client is the expert in their life. I work from a person centered and strength based perspective focusing more on the person as a whole and their strengths rather than the problem. I will often use CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) to help my clients really understand the impact that our thoughts have on feelings and behavior.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I have the ability to quickly and effectively assess needs and work with you to come up with a treatment plan suited just for you. I love helping teens and women build up their self-esteem, and confidence. By doing so, insight and self-awareness is achieved, and this plays a huge role in making choices in life that will be more helpful rather than hurtful.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
Adults 18 years and older. My clients are eager to improve, but don't yet have the tools needed to make this goal a reality. They often feel stuck, overwhelmed and anxious about their certain areas of their life.

Bridgett was very personable and easy too communicate with a professional level of compassion and understanding. Her intelligence was demonstrated with her extensive knowledge of anxiety, anger management, irritability and panic attacks and providing the veteran with the tools to gain a better of how to cope with these mental health challenges.
