Psychology has always been my passion and I truly love working in the field to provide a warm environment for my clients to grow. I am a licensed mental health clinician (LMHC) with 8+ years of experience providing therapeutic services to children, adolescents and adults. I have found that I most enjoy providing therapeutic services to adolescents and adults and am knowledgeable in a variety of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, conduct disorders, substance abuse and difficulty adjusting to life changes. Over the past few years, I have found that I have gained a great deal of personal and professional experience with woman suffering from Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS). This is a very underserved population and I hope to help change that one client at a time. Other underserved populations I have extensive experience with are adult children of alcoholics and those suffering from religious trauma syndrome.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into your mental health history and present difficulties. This will help me understand your needs better and create a tailored plan for our sessions moving forward.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My biggest strength as a therapist is my ability to listen and understand a client's needs. I also believe my life experiences, both personal and professional, have made it possible for me to empathize with my client's.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I love working with young adults getting started with their careers, mothers struggling to balance work and family life and adult children of alcoholics/ addicts. I also enjoy helping women with PCOS navigate some of the emotional burdens associated with having a hormonal disorder.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I often use CBT to help clients change faulty thinking patterns that may be causing or contributing to their anxiety.

Compassion Focused

I use CFT to assist clients in changing negative, self critical thinking patterns so that they may heal from early childhood wounds.
