After a career in the corporate world, I "reinvented" by going back to school to obtain a masters degree in counseling. I have worked at the VA, FL civil commitment prison, a psychiatric hospital and for the last five years counsel for a local hospital system serving a diverse population. Married, 5 kids, (3 adopted), cats and dogs, successes and failures in both business and personal life. I continue to learn how to navigate life's challenges and find meaning and purpose helping others. I practice CBT, ACT, and mindfulness, but believe the client's language should drive their journey. Being heard and understood is a partnership. Cultivating peace inside us allows us to see things as they really are. I pledge to always do my best for you.

Feeling overwhelmed, exhausted by overthinking, or stuck in patterns that no longer serve you? Maybe your mind feels anxious, scattered, or weighed down by overthinking. You’re not alone—and you don’t have to carry it all by yourself. I help adults who feel overwhelmed by anxiety, self-doubt, or major life transitions find clarity, confidence, and a greater sense of calm. 🌱 I bring both compassion and structure to therapy. Clients describe me as warm, approachable, and practical—someone who listens deeply, helps them feel understood, and offers clear guidance for moving forward. 🌱 As a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP) and Certified Mindfulness-Informed Professional (CMIP), I specialize in evidence-based approaches like CBT, ACT, mindfulness, and strengths-based therapy. These methods give us a flexible toolkit we can tailor to your needs—whether you want to quiet racing thoughts, improve focus and organization, or navigate a life change with more confidence. 🌱 I believe therapy works best when it feels both supportive and practical: a place where you feel truly heard, while also discovering new perspectives and strategies that create lasting change. My goal is to meet you where you are, honor your strengths, and walk with you as you build the life you want.

Hi, my name is Morgan. Do you ever feel that your life is nothing but a big puzzle and that some pieces are missing? You are not quite sure how to find those pieces. And if you do, you don't know where they fit. So you look for someone to help you find the pieces and hopefully, put them where they should go. It's not always an easy, but once completed, you feel whole. I was there once. At the age of 21, I decided to leave the U.S. and travel abroad by myself for 6 months. Then it was off to Central America. My eyes were wide open! I loved to experience different cultures. And my curiosity for differences never went away. A college mentor told me about the field of social work. So I got my MSW and thus began a new career. After years of working in the field and at various occupations, I decided to join DOD and become a Clinical Social Worker for the Navy. After 14 years of government work, I went into private practice. Now I'm here and I love it! It isn't everyone who can love what they do and do what they love. I'm waiting to hear from you; excited to hear your story and maybe share a little bit of mine so we can connect and build a rapport. You are the center of this journey and it is a humbling experience for me to be a part of it. I look forward to hearing from you.

We are all facing difficult challenges in this life and often we find ourselves unsure of where to turn or what to do. We can all too easily get stuck in a rut and can use a little nudge to get us out and moving again. I'm glad you have taken the first step in seeking help. Counseling can seem a daunting endeavor but it can also be very beneficial and rewarding as a means to better understanding of ourselves. My hope is that you will continue reading about me and be able to gain an understanding and a comfort in us partnering together on your journey. My name is Mike and I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida. Throughout my career, my goal has been to help others to better understand the difficulties they are facing and find a path to work through those challenges. I accomplish this goal by openly and without judgement, meeting the client where they are. My approach includes principles from multiple theorists, each having their own benefits dependent on the issues that are being faced. Our focus will be on the present, the here and now. When necessary as part of developing better understanding, we will look at past events and triggers for how they have informed the present, but we are in the present. We will work collaboratively to better understand current problems, we'll set realistic goals for progress and develop skills necessary to not only overcome current issues but face future concerns as well. My areas of practice include working with blended families, intimacy issues, infertility/adoption decisions, grief and loss, stages of life, as well as compassion fatigue/care giver issues along with anxiety, stress, and depression. You've taken the important first steps in this journey to a healthier you. I look forward to having the opportunity to work with you but ultimately whether you choose to work with me or another counselor I hope you are able to gain a better understanding of yourself and create brighter future. Best wishes, Mike

Hi I’m CJ a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) that focus' on working with individuals, couples, and families who aren’t just looking to feel better they’re looking for something real. Not peace that comes from avoiding conflict, but the kind that comes from being fully seen, heard, and understood even in the mess. Most of us develop habits and defenses to get through life. Some serve us, others start to block us. My job is to help you see the difference, get curious about where they come from, and decide which ones you’re ready to let go of. We live in a world that rewards performance and discourages authenticity. This work is about slowing down, cutting through the noise, and reconnecting with what matters so you can live in alignment with who you really are, not who you've been told to be.

Never in a million years did I ever think providing counseling to individuals, couples, families, and groups, would be the career to captivate my heart….but it is! My specialties are working with clients who may be suffering from traumatic incidents, substance abuse, various forms of anxiety (PTSD, stress disorders), depression, self-esteem, and gender identity. Making the decision to receive any form of mental health counseling can be taxing, however, the results are often positive and rewarding. Learning to face your fears in a healthy and appropriate manner is a sign of growth and maturity. It is not an easy task. You will cry, laugh, and maybe feel a little uncomfortable at times. This is just the therapeutic process working to make you emotionally stronger. *Please note that my preference for treatment sessions are individual and group therapy. However, I do provide a limited number of couples or family therapy sessions for special circumstances.

Hey, I'm Matt. Life may not offer a lot of certainty, but one thing is for sure: everyone struggles sometimes. You might feel like you struggle MOST of the time. I’d like to counter that notion with the belief that embracing those struggles can be the key to overcoming them. To be clear, embracing our struggles doesn’t mean they simply disappear, but I believe we can learn to acknowledge and manage them in a way that will allow us to feel more empowered and prepared to face them. When we live with anxiety and depression, it makes sense that we would want a permanent fix, but I believe that expectation too often leads to feelings of hopelessness simply because that’s not how anxiety and depression work. What if, instead of waiting for them to magically disappear, we learned to acknowledge those feelings and used our own unique experiences with them to get ourselves through the struggles? If you are struggling, I’d like to offer a safe space for you to talk it out and hopefully come away with a different perspective on your ability to manage your anxiety and/or depression. I might point out a turn here and there, but you’ll do the driving!

I'm Sarah and I am a licensed mental health counselor who practices talk therapy. However, I'm also a human and I treat our interaction as so. We are equal. I am simply a catalyst to help you do the work and reach your potential. I am a listening ear, and a guiding hand. My approach to therapy is relaxed and open-minded. I utilize motivational interviewing, which helps to make the conversation more natural while still allowing us to get some real work done. I also utilize equine therapy as an in-person technique. Anything that will help my client discover new ways of looking at their life situations. I have helped clients build self-esteem, develop resiliency, and overcome life's obstacles through a personalized treatment plan tailored to each client. My favorite part of this work is watching someone tap into their own resources that they didn't even know they had. When I'm not talking with clients, I'm spending time with my horse, Hank. Or, you can find me at the gym. I hope that we can connect and begin your journey to your happiest self.

On the outside, things might look fine—but inside, you may be dealing with anxiety, depression, or patterns that feel hard to break. Maybe you’re constantly overthinking, avoiding things you care about, or stuck in habits that leave you feeling frustrated or exhausted. I work with individuals who are navigating anxiety, depression, OCD-related challenges, and compulsive behaviors. Together, we’ll look at what’s keeping you stuck and build a path toward meaningful, sustainable change. My approach is grounded in evidence-based treatments like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Habit Reversal Training (HRT). Therapy is collaborative and focused on helping you develop practical strategies that actually fit your life—not just abstract ideas. If you’re feeling burned out, overwhelmed, or unsure where to start, therapy can offer clarity and support. You don’t have to figure everything out on your own.

I am caring, compassionate, and a very good listener. I am a Christian, wife of a Veteran, mother, and grandmother. My heritage is Caribbean-American. I grew up in South Florida with four sisters and two brothers. I was very independent at a very young age and willing to help out wherever. I am a musician starting with piano in elementary school, then clarinet in middle school, and bass clarinet and bassoon in high school. I love music and find it beneficial in every aspect of life. I decided to grow my family before pursuing a career. I decided to pursue a career in the mental health field because of a family member being diagnosed with a severe mental health disorder. I earned my AA in Psychology, then a dual degree in Psychology and Behavioral Science. After my undergrad, I went on to receive my master's in social work. I have worked with Veterans, homeless, hospice, young adults, children, elders, couples and individuals with severe mental health diagnoses. In my pursuit to help my family member, I became even more passionate about mental health and reducing the negative stigma attached to it. This passion I share with everyone I encounter.

Hello! I am Dinorah Escala, a mental health counselor licensed in the state of Florida. I have over a decade of experience collaborating with clients from diverse cultural, ethnic, social, and economic backgrounds. I have advanced training in the preparation of immigration evaluations (Hardship Waivers, Cancellation of Removal, VAWA, Asylum, T & U Visas and more). I also hold a mater's degree in Business Administration and certification as an Interpreter/Translator (Spanish/English). Before becoming a therapist, I held positions in the US Government and private (IT) sector. However, my passion for learning about human behavior led me to a final shift to mental health and coaching. My exposure to diverse cultures and personal experience after residing in different countries allows me to better understand the specific challenges faced by the immigrant community, especially from the female perspective. I also help clients dealing with stress, anxiety and depression that usually arise from the challenges of day-to-day living or life changes.
