Hello! I'm Amanda, a licensed mental health counselor and behavior therapist serving Florida and Colorado via telehealth. In 2025, I founded Undivided Heart Mental Health, a practice centered around evidence-based and client-centered care that supports both teens and adults individually as they practice effective behavior change and mindfulness along with providing parent coaching for families with children currently managing mental health challenges.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I believe my biggest strength as a clinician includes my creativity and energy. I know that therapy is not a one size fits all place- every client is unique and has a different need therefore, I am committed to creating an environment where each client is empowered to assert their needs and collaborate. Getting to know each of my clients is a unique experience and presenting interventions to them in a way that would be helpful is where my creativity comes in.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

ACT is used in session to explore personal values, important life domains and the life that you would like to build for yourself.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT is used to examine the little dance our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors do while also evaluating what behaviors are either helpful or unhelpful in life currently. This insight provides the roadmap into the treatment plan and into what active coping skills we will practice in session.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

DBT is used to practice flexibility and openness while prioritizing mindfulness. This insight is most helpful when practiced alongside CBT and ACT.
