I am experienced in working with addictions, veterans, LGBTQ, couples, and adolescents in diverse populations. I specialize in life changes, relationship issues, women's issues, self esteem issues, and substance abuse. I also specialize in working with individuals and their families struggling with addiction, as this is a family disease. Recently I worked with clients with anxiety, mental health challenges, addictions, depression, trauma, and veterans with addictions and PTSD. I served for 10 years in the United States Marine Corps and specialize in working with active and reserve members, veterans, and their families of the armed forces. If you are a veteran or active duty member having trouble reintegrating with your family, or struggling with substance abuse look no further! Help is here! I work extremely hard to provide a safe environment for all of my clients where they can feel comfortable expressing themselves without worrying about being judged. I am direct and honest and hold my clients accountable for their choices and I give feedback that assists with clients growth.

My treatment methods

Reality Therapy

Reality therapy, developed by Dr. William Glasser, is a therapeutic approach that emphasizes personal responsibility and focuses on the present moment rather than past experiences. It helps individuals identify and meet their basic needs—such as love, power, freedom, and fun—through realistic and attainable goals. The therapy encourages clients to evaluate their current behaviors and make positive changes to achieve a more satisfying and fulfilling life. By fostering a strong therapist-client relationship, reality therapy empowers clients to take control of their lives, make better choices, and develop effective problem-solving skills.
