I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. My name is Tahaji Smith. I am currently an MSW graduate, and an LCSW with 20+ years of public service experience. Previously, I worked for 17 years as an Emergency Public Safety Communications Operator for one of the largest law enforcement agencies in the nation, but I decided to pursue a career doing what I love…helping others become the best version of themselves.
Hi, its nice to meet you. I have been a therapist for a decade now. Before being a therapist, I spent 20 years in Healthcare Administration with 17 of those in management. I share this because I understand the stress that comes with the "corp" world and management.
After 20 years, I decided to change careers and utilize my skills in coaching and mentoring. I received my Master's in Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. I am a health and wellness focused licensed professional counselor, so I spend time talking about how to balance your life, your stress, and ensure you are having some fun in your life.
Therapeutically I'm very eclectic. I use different techniques based on your needs. That being said, yes, I use CBT, DBT, REBT, talk therapy, and assessments as most therapists do.
My primary focus is all types of Anxiety, ADHD testing in adults, Executive Functioning, Self-Confidence, Life Changes, and Couples/Relationship Counseling.
I do have a "day job" so the work I do through Grow is part time, evening and most Saturdays.
My name is Viviana Vethencourt, I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor with more than 25 years of experience supporting clients in their journey of transformation from emotional pain, feeling overwhelmed, anxious, sad, irritable, to the life they want where they can navigate life transitions, create healthier relationships, work on their goals, or find peace and calm in their lives. I meet my clients where they are at with an integrative approach, we work with past experiences and present needs, through insights, acceptance and learning new patterns.
I'm an LPC (TN), and LMHC (FL) with over 20 years of experience working with people impacted by trauma, anxiety, phobias, life transitions, perinatal experiences, and performance-related pressure and stress. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that meaningful healing, emotional shifts, and lasting change can happen more gently, and often much more quickly, than people expect.
Maybe you’re the person everyone counts on, the one who handles things, keeps going, and appears to have it all together. But underneath that, you may be anxious, emotionally exhausted, constantly overthinking, or struggling in relationships. You may find yourself people-pleasing, feeling guilty for saying no, putting everyone else’s needs before your own, or wondering why the same patterns keep showing up even when you know you want something different.
I work with adults who want to understand where these patterns come from and begin changing them. Often, our work explores how family dynamics, childhood experiences, and past relationships have shaped the way you view yourself, manage emotions, set boundaries, and connect with others. This isn’t about blaming the past. It’s about understanding what you learned to do to cope or feel connected and deciding what still serves you today.
For some clients, these patterns become even more noticeable after becoming a parent. Parenthood can bring up unexpected emotions about your own childhood, your relationship with your parents, and what you want to carry forward or intentionally do differently with your own family.
I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, National Certified Counselor, Certified Perinatal Mental Health Professional (PMH-C), and EMDRIA Certified EMDR Therapist. My approach is warm, collaborative, and genuine, with a focus on helping you understand yourself more deeply, heal from experiences you may still be carrying, and create healthier patterns in your relationship with yourself and others.
Over 22 years of actively working with others to support their holistic healing journey has formed my practice to include multiple different modalities. These modalities include Cognitive behavior therapy, motivational interviewing, DBT, Mindfulness techniques and somatic therapeutic interventions. I work with Substance Use Disorder OP Treatment including MAT as well as other mental health concerns. From Acute Stress to Chronic and Complex PTSD my experiences and training can support you on your journey to long term wellness and development of the life you've always known you were capable of growing.
Are you having a difficult time getting through your day because your mind is wondering or you feel so down that you do not have any motivation? Do you feel confused because your mood is up and down?
It may seem that it is never going to stop and I will always have these issues but I want you to know there is help out there and I can help you learn what it is that you are going through and teach you skills that help manage the feelings so you have more great days than low days. I will add some humor into our sessions because sometimes our emotions get to be too much and we need to just laugh once in a while.
I love mixing different therapies because therapy techniques are not cookie cutter and one technique may work for one person but not another person. We will find what works best for you.
Seeking therapy can feel scary but you're making the right choice. You deserve a safe space to heal and grow. In our sessions together, I'll meet you with compassion and evidence-based techniques so you can overcome the concerns you have that are holding you back. Let's work together.
Hi, I'm Susan Sabogal, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor providing therapy in English and Spanish. I work with adults who are tired of carrying everyone else's expectations, second-guessing themselves, and feeling guilty for having needs of their own.
My style is warm, practical, and straightforward. I'm not interested in spending months talking about problems without helping you move forward. Together, we'll connect the dots between your past experiences, current challenges, and the patterns that may be keeping you stuck. My goal is to help you better understand yourself, build confidence in your decisions, develop healthier boundaries, and create meaningful change that lasts.
I am a marriage and family therapist and I help people overcome childhood trauma. I have worked with several clients who have experienced relationship, work related and family issues. The way I help them is by (1) Going to the root cause of the issue, (2) Giving them the tools so they don't repeat it and (3) Teach them how to be courageous enough to choose themselves. Call to set up your free consult if you want to know more
My goal is to help people not just get through life, but truly thrive. While I do work with individuals who have experienced long-term mental health challenges, most of the people I see are high-functioning but feel stressed, disconnected, or stuck. With a Ph.D. in Human Sexuality and experience as a clinical sexologist, I understand how vital it is to love ourselves and others openly and honestly. By fostering this kind of self-acceptance and connection, we can greatly improve our overall well-being.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and am Board Certified in Art Therapy.
Whether you’re facing trauma, relationship struggles, or navigating identity issues, I see your strength in coming forward. I work with individuals who are not just seeking to manage their challenges but are ready to explore themselves on a deeper level.

Are you struggling with challenges that affect your emotional health and wellbeing? Do past experiences feel like they're limiting your potential? Are you looking for a safe space to explore your thoughts and feelings?
I'm a licensed psychotherapist who believes the therapeutic relationship is the most powerful catalyst for change. My goal is to partner with you toward your desired goals in a supportive, collaborative environment — working together to foster positive change and build strategies for self-empowerment.
I'm trained in EMDR therapy, based on the idea that our brains have a natural system for processing experiences so we can retain what serves our growth. When disturbing experiences overwhelm that system — or we lack the context to make sense of what happened — the effects can linger. EMDR uses bilateral (left-right) stimulation to activate the brain's natural processing system, helping you work through difficult experiences and release what no longer serves you.
I believe our past shapes our present and future, in both adaptive and maladaptive ways. I'd be honored to help you on your journey toward inner peace, self-love, and fulfillment.
Hello! My name is Dan, and I am a licensed mental health counselor. I am passionate about my profession and enjoy helping my clients achieve their individual goals. I provide Christian Counseling to incorporate faith and God into our sessions. I focus on helping clients develop assertive communication & boundaries with themselves and those around them that can help improve their quality of life.
One of the most powerful effects I have found in therapy is providing a safe space where you are heard, understood, and accepted. We all have stress and struggle at times and there is great healing in exploring and touching those feelings. Let's work together towards your goals!

During my doctoral internship at the Mental Health Center of Florida, I worked across community mental health, family court, and private clinical settings with a wide range of individuals and families. I went on to complete my postdoctoral fellowship at Alliance for Psychological Services, where I provided therapy and psychological assessments in forensic and high-intensity settings, including court-mandated work involving family court, dependency court, and the Department of Corrections. Today, I provide both therapy and psychological assessment. My clinical work often centers around anxiety, depression, trauma histories, life transitions, and complex family dynamics. I also have a strong interest in sports and performance psychology, particularly in supporting athletes and high-performing individuals who want to strengthen the connection between mental and physical performance.

With over 15 years of experience in the mental health field, I am passionate about supporting adults and couples as they navigate life’s transitions and pursue meaningful growth. Whether you are a college student or recent graduate adjusting to a new season of life, an individual facing anxiety or depression, or a couple preparing for marriage or working to strengthen your relationship, I strive to provide guidance that feels both supportive and practical.
My Christian faith shapes my personal values; however, I work with people from all backgrounds and beliefs. Faith-based perspectives are incorporated into counseling only if a client specifically desires it.
My goal is to create a safe, welcoming space where you feel heard, understood, and supported. Life transitions—whether expected or unexpected—can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to navigate them alone. Together, we can explore the challenges you are facing and work toward the emotional and personal goals that matter most to you.
I have experience working with adults experiencing life changes, including college and post-college transitions, relationship challenges, marriage and premarital preparation, and parenting. I also support individuals navigating anxiety, depression, and stress that often accompany these seasons of change. My background as a behavioral specialist in community mental health allows me to effectively support adults diagnosed with ADHD or autism spectrum disorder, as well as parents raising children with these diagnoses.
In my work with couples, I draw from my experience as a trained Prepare/Enrich facilitator to help partners strengthen communication, navigate conflict, and build healthier, more connected relationships.
When working with individuals, I primarily use a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approach to address concerns such as anxiety, depression, and life transitions. My focus is on equipping you with practical tools and strategies so you can move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and resilience.
I believe therapy is most effective when it feels both supportive and collaborative. My goal is to provide a safe space where clients can process trauma, explore challenges, and build the skills they need to live more fully. I offer psychotherapy, therapeutic assessments, and specialized interventions designed to meet each client’s unique needs. Whether you are navigating life transitions, managing mental health concerns, or seeking greater clarity in your relationships, I aim to help you feel understood and empowered. As I often remind clients, our connection to the world is shaped by the people we engage with. Together, we can build on your existing strengths and experiences to create meaningful change and improve your quality
of life.
As an athlete, a family man, and a man of faith, I understand the challenges with adjusting to change associated with leaving a sport or career, you love, before you believe your time is up. I understand what it feels like to develop a bond and the challenges with sustaining such bonds. I also understand seeking growth spiritually when there’s so much temptation and triggers that seem to pull me away for my goals. With that, these experiences are what hopefully keep me humble, motivated, and grateful.
Do you feel at times your distressing emotions are a non-stop express train in that it seems impossible to stop the train? Are there times you feel overwhelmed by your negative thoughts? Is it a challenge for you to manage your emotions? As an LMHC, I help individuals develop healthy ways to cope with stress, regulate their emotions, and learn to identify/change unhelpful thought patterns that negatively influence their behavior and emotions.
