Hello and welcome — I’m glad you’re here.
I’m an integrative psychotherapist, which means I see you as a whole person — body, mind, heart, spirit, relationships, and community. True healing and growth happen when all parts of your life are acknowledged and supported.
In our work together, we’ll use a holistic approach that blends mind-body tools, neuroscience, and practical action plans designed to create lasting change. My goal is to help you move from where you are now to where you truly want to be — building greater clarity, balance, and resilience along the way.
Whether you’re seeking relief from stress and anxiety, navigating a life transition, or wanting deeper connection to yourself and others, therapy can be the bridge. Together, we’ll uncover what’s holding you back and create a path forward that feels authentic and empowering.
You don’t have to do this alone. If you’re ready to begin your journey toward healing and growth, I invite you to reach out — let’s take the next step together.
Hi, I'm Dave Jaskolski, a Licensed Marriage and Family Counselor. LMFT. I graduated from JFK University with a degree in Counseling and Transpersonal Psychology. I have worked with children, adolescents, and their families with serious symptoms and challenges such as: PTSD & trauma-related issues, ADHD/ learning disorders, and school-related IEPs, Self-harming/cutting/suicidal ideation and attempts, foster children, attachment issues, aggression/ anger issues. You might feel like you’ve been carrying too much for too long—trying to keep it together while life feels heavier than it should. Maybe anxiety keeps running the show. Maybe you’ve been stuck in habits or patterns that don’t serve you anymore. Maybe you’ve gone through heartbreak, loss, or betrayal and can’t quite find your footing again. Or maybe you just know something’s off, and you’re tired of pretending everything’s fine.
Here’s how I can help.
Together, we’ll slow things down and get to the root of what’s really driving your emotions and behaviors—not just the surface stress, but the deeper patterns that keep showing up. I’ll help you develop tools to manage overwhelming thoughts and feelings in real time so you can start responding differently instead of reacting automatically.
We’ll also focus on rebuilding your confidence and connection—with yourself and the people who matter most. That means learning how to trust your own instincts again, set boundaries without guilt, and create habits that actually last.
Therapy with me isn’t about endlessly talking through problems—it’s about real movement. My goal is to help you feel lighter, more grounded, and genuinely hopeful about where you’re headed.

Hi! My name is Junise Dorestin and I am a License Marriage and Family Therapist. Prior to becoming a therapist, I worked as a children social service worker with Child Protective Services. I have been working in the field of mental health for over 10 years. I obtained my Masters of Art in Psychology emphasis Marriage and Family Therapy from Alliant International University in 2008. I have experienced in working with incarcerated individuals, families, children and young adult. I use a broad range of treatment method to assist individuals and families in the process of reaching their goals. As a LMFT, I am passionate about helping others work through their struggles and built insight. I work those who are struggling with a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, bipolar, PTSD and stress. I have work with those with psychotic disorders and dual diagnoses.
I am a licensed clinical social worker specializing in supporting trauma survivors, LGBTQIA+ clients, gender affirming therapy for trans and non-binary clients, and those seeking to explore patterns of thinking and feeling and how they can connect to the past, trauma, or difficult family dynamics. In my sessions, I’m hoping clients will feel my authenticity, sincerity, warmth, and humor. I hope to create a space where people look forward to coming and spending time together as we explore and make space for healing & self discovery.
Trauma or difficult dynamics with caregivers can leave us feeling hurt, angry, confused, or anxious. We also might feel like we don't know ourselves, like everything is our fault, that we have to be perfect, or like bad things are bound to happen. Trauma can get played out in our relationships which can cause conflict, confusion, and hurt. Because trauma happened in relationships, it can be healed in relationship. I try and create a sense of safety, care, and emotional warmth so we can begin the important work of healing. These elements can give people a restorative experience where they can express feelings and truly feel held and seen.
I also use a psychodynamic lens; looking at the past and childhood to make sense of current feelings and behaviors. This can involve looking toward the unconscious to help reveal important themes and emotional needs. I value a collaborative and strengths-based approach, working together to build on your strengths and discover ways you hope to grow, change, expand or explore themes in your life. Together, we can work toward creating a more stable or stronger core sense of self.
I’m also newly trained in EMDR and have found this incredibly helpful for clients needing to reprocess difficult memories, experiences, or ways of thinking and feeling.
Welcome!
I believe that hard times create strong people. I offer an inclusive, safe, and nonjudgmental space to transform struggle into clarity, resilience, and empowered action. I provide therapy for adults navigating ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, Stress as well as a variety other conditions.
I offer a space that is considerate and respectful, but also open and receptive, where you can speak and be heard, and where missing the mark is only another chance to understand each other. If you are searching for something more— more clarity, grounding, or a way to arrange the fragments—and you are willing to be vulnerable, to be known, this is your invitation.

Greetings,
Life can be confusing, relationships can be stressful, and the present can make you feel anxious or depressed. Sometimes a painful past can surface into the moment, especially when situations are difficult or when you are experiencing major change. During these periods your mood and thoughts can be affected in negative ways. When you are feeling alone, disconnected, or confused, talking things through can make all the difference.
I work with anyone struggling to find joy, peace, and fulfillment. I offer a safe, inviting space for you to share thoughts and feelings, to vent, to feel heard, and to reorient to meaning. Please allow me to assist you finding relief and clarity. I will meet you where you are at and welcome you. I address healing on multiple levels of the body-mind connection with a focus on the notion that caring about something or someone along with experiencing meaning can counterbalance the effects of hurt, a disturbing past, or a present stressful situation or transition.
I have more than 20 years of experience helping clients navigate major change and transition, gain closure, and create new beginnings. I apply interventions from a mind-body-being perspective and assess current life stressors to distinguish between situational mood and thought disturbances from those enduring and a consequence of previous hurt or trauma.

Clinical Expertise & Background
With 25 years of clinical experience, I am dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s complexities with balance and resilience. I am a Linehan Board-Certified Dialectical Behavior Therapist (DBT), a credential that reflects my deep commitment to providing the highest standard of evidence-based care.
My academic foundation began at St. Louis University (MO), where I earned both my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and my Master of Social Work. This rigorous training, combined with decades of practice, allows me to offer a space that is as clinically sound as it is compassionate and nonjudgmental.
My Approach

A Holistic Perspective
I believe that mental health is inextricably linked to physical well-being. When I’m not in the clinician’s chair, I’m likely moving. I am certified in spinning/cycling and have a deep passion for power walking, latin dance, yoga, and Pilates. This personal commitment to the mind-body connection informs my therapeutic perspective—I understand the discipline and rhythm required to foster lasting change.
The "Co-Therapist"
Healing often comes in small, furry packages. I have a 6-year-old toy Yorkie who frequently joins me. While he isn’t a registered service dog, he is an expert in providing comfort and a calming presence. He is available to join our sessions upon request (and rest assured, he is excellent at maintaining client confidentiality).
