New to Grow
Hello! I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California with a trauma-informed, somatic & relational approach to therapy. I work with thoughtful adults who want to understand themselves more deeply, reconnect with their bodies, and create more ease and clarity in their relationships. My style is warm, collaborative, and grounded in nervous system education—supporting meaningful, lasting change rather than quick fixes.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In your first session, you can expect a warm, collaborative conversation focused on getting to know you—not just your symptoms, but your story, relationships, and what brings you to therapy now. We’ll talk about what you’re hoping for, what’s felt hard or stuck, and begin noticing how your nervous system responds as we talk. You won’t be pushed to share anything you’re not ready for; instead, the goal is for you to leave feeling understood, oriented, and with a clearer sense of how our work together can support you.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
What stands out about my work is the way I integrate depth-oriented, relational therapy with a strong understanding of the nervous system. Rather than focusing solely on symptom reduction or insight, I help clients notice how their body, emotions, and relationships interact in real time—because that’s where lasting change happens. Clients often experience increased self-trust, emotional clarity, and a felt sense of steadiness, not just intellectual understanding. The work is collaborative, attuned, and paced to your nervous system, allowing patterns shaped by past relationships or experiences to soften without force. Many people tell me this therapy feels both grounding and deeply human—supportive without being prescriptive, and transformative without being overwhelming.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
My best work is with thoughtful, self-aware adults who are ready to look beneath the surface of their symptoms. Many of my clients struggle with anxiety, self-doubt, relational patterns that feel hard to shift, or a sense of disconnection from their bodies or emotions—even though they appear high-functioning on the outside. They value depth, curiosity, and honesty, and are seeking therapy that helps them feel more grounded, confident, and authentic in their relationships and daily lives, not just better at managing stress.
Somatic
Somatic therapy is the compassionate focus on the experience our bodies have around stress, emotions, and relationships. Often many of us can identify our challenging thoughts and emotions, but that awareness alone isn't enough to change how we FEEL. Somatic therapy helps us make compassionate and lasting shifts in our minds and bodies.
